Ok so here's something that happened to me last weekend and I'd appreciate some feedback. I stopped Into a local AMP a little after 9 pm. The provider asked me for the length of time for the session. Now I paid for am hr but we were finished after about 25 mins.

Now because I got taken for a bit of a ride with another AMP before went to the one this post is about (I'll post about that another day), I only had $20 left over for a tip. I kinda feel bad about the lacking tip, but I give it to her and she gives me the sad puppy dog look. I open my wallet and show her that I've got no more money. I apologize and then leave.

Although I feel bad about the little tip I wonder if it's still appropriate given the fact that I was shorted almost 40 mins out of the rest of the massage. What do you guys think? Was her tip appropriate despite not getting the full hr but getting fully relaxed, or should I have given more because she fully relaxed me despite the shortened session?

I've never been to an AMP, but have certainly experienced this with independent providers. If you are paying for the hour, the girl needs to at least hit the 50 minute mark. Even if you have popped, she should continue the massage. I had a regular gal a few years ago, who would release you at the 45 minute mark and then take another 10 minutes on your legs. It was great and she deserved something extra. Unfortunately, she is no longer in the biz.

New place on Main Street in Westerville. The sign just states Asian Massage so I don't know if that's what the actual name is or they were just getting straight to the point.

Anyway. Finally not a DIY place (in a good way) in the neighborhood.

Thanks Homebrewerguy and JustHereNow for your advice. I felt like I made the right decision, I just wanted to see what others would say. I know that tips are how the providers make their money since the hourly rate all goes to the house. I've heard of some places even taking half of the masseuses tips as well.

The girl left the room two or three times during the massage. When I asked her if she could use some lotion or oil, she was assuming I meant for the HE and said later. I had to explain to her that a dry back massage wasn't a pleasurable experience and she finally caught on. She didn't pay much attention to the directions I was giving her regarding the best massage technique and although initially reluctant to deviate from the DIY option, begrudgingly complied. Based upon a previous review I tried a $20 to see it went over. She was less than pleased and proceeded to press me for a larger tip. I didn't give on my initial offer. That is why you get shorted time sometimes. I always check now and am tall enough to do a quick clock sync before they come in the room.
