Yes, the cabarets at PP pretty much disappeared once they knocked that wall down between the stage area and the topless only LD area - it's much brighter there, too.

I used to get myself a spot at the rail first level up from the stage. As you say, heming and hawing about getting a LD gives pretty good mileage and time for a buck or two. Of course you have to take what comes off the stage, pretty much is a 50-50 proposition at that place.

That's what made the old Mario's so successful. There was a time there that you had to show up early just to get a table. If you showed up at around 9 or 10 at night on the weekends, hell even some weeknights, you'd be SOL and have to stand around watching all the perverts at the tables getting cabarets from every dancer. Those were days. Think about it. This was a club way out of the way in Johnston yet it was always packed. Always.

None of these women have the patience to make the cabaret thing work anymore. At the old Mario's a dancer could make hundreds a night doing cabarets. The same was true of the "pit" at the old CF. Heck, I didn't do real private dances at CF for the first six months that I was a customer. You could sit in those chairs (there was a line waiting for them on busy nights) and dancer after dancer would rotate over there as part of their stage set.

These women have no patience anymore. They want their money $20 at a time or not at all. Not very smart...

That's why I do the math, three dances with one girl plus tip (about ten minutes at 3 per dance) vs. 1 hr at an amp for $ HJ or $$ with FS guaranteed results to.

Went to Cheaters yesterday and found Foxy on the recommendation of another member here. At CF they put in some black comfortable chairs near the stage. These are supposed to be cabaret chairs. On a recent visit, guys sitting there are ignored by the girls, After a while, one girl told me about it It's nothing like the pit at the old CF. RIP Cabaret dancing.

Having visited Providence a few times I thought I would spend some cash and tour some of the cities strip clubs near and around the downtown area.

I started my trek at a slow time of the day (around 2:30 or 3pm. Headed to the Sportsmans Inn and purchased a Bud Light and looked around the place. It was mostly dead, two dudes sitting near the "stage" (no girls dancing) and a few others near the bar. In general the girls were apathetic and didn't even approach me. I finished my beer and headed out.

Walked around the corner to the Satin Doll. A much nicer club than SI which seemed to be on par with Cheaters as far as atmosphere (or lack thereof) and quality of dancers is concerned. Two girls one black spinner working the stage with a customer and another petit yet curvy white girl from MA who approached me to chat. Very good attitude we had a nice chat while I enjoyed my beer. I asked for a dance ($25) and we went to the back with mostly private seats. She did a great job, plenty of grinding, no inhibition whatever and plenty of mutual touching. At the end of the dance she asked if I wanted to "play" and I inquired for a price ($) to which I responded that I'd be back after hitting the ATM. My guess is that the $ was negotiable since she seemed apprehensive about giving me the quote to begin with.

Anyway, left the club to try my luck at Desire (quite a walk, but it was still early. Desire was much more happening and a much nicer quality club (the clientele was clearly higher end with lots of older men wearing suits / sports jackets etc. A beautiful brunette spinner with C bolt-ons approached me and we chatted as I drank my first beer. She was very hot (for reference girls at SI = 1/10, SD =7/10, Des = 9/10) and actually quite intelligent from what I could gather (a Manhattan girl who used to work for Bear Sterns. BS? Maybe. Anyway, I asked about the dance policy and she let me know: $20 for 1 dance in the open (mostly exposed seating at the back, $45 for 2 or 3 dances in the more private area, and $130 for 15 minutes in a small private room (she let me know this included "hand extraction of DNA". Although $.30 was steep for a HJ she was hot enough that I figure what the hell I could do worse so I went ahead and got 15 minutes with her (it should be noted that $30 went to the club and she kept the $. The experience was good, she was hot, and really quite into it and we had a good chat too. Overall I felt good with my results at Desire. Girls are hot and the atmosphere is far classier and not nearly as sleezy as SI or Cheaters.

After my extraction I headed out (had to get back to the downtown area) and along the way I decided to stop by SI again to see if it was an bit better.

Then after the 3 so so lap dances there was the confusion between her and I regarding the cost. She said she wanted $120. Now I've been to my share if strip clubs and I've never paid $40 per dance so that seemed a bit absurd to me.

I gave her all the cash I had on me ($40) and bounced. So in total I spent $55 for 3 dances on what supposedly was 2 for 1 Monday Special so I think that is more than fair.

Any sightings of allure or smokey? I'm pretty sure allure should be back from her *ahem* vacation I've tried her phones but no luck she probably got a new prepaid again. Anyone been to cheaters lately and seen either let us know.

Normally I go to Desire and the Caddy, but lately the girls at Caddy are pricing themselves right out of business. I was there the other day and saw a girl I had not seen for some time. Normally I would go for 1/2 hr in the VIP and pay $$. Now they want $$ for 15 min, a big rip off. And now, the guy taking the money for the VIP doesn't seem to be able to keep time, paid for 1/2 hr and got 15 min then the surprise price increase. There are actually several quite lovely Asian dancers in the area. Two or three come to mind a Mario's in Webster and Club Fantasies as well as the Foxy in Providence. While certainly not in any sort of majority they are definitely out there.
