https://reason.com/blog/2018/09/13/nypd-cops-gambling-prostitution
I don't know how common it is in the higher end game. I think it's probably not uncommon for a street cop to get a BJ form a street girl but this is a whole different story. This is more of the 50's style of corruption. But I think in general cops are not too fast to get into this kind of shit. I mean the guy was retired at the age of 50. Where in the Public sector can you do that working a 9-5? In the 50's you could walk to the next block and get a high paying job. This is no longer the case anywhere. I have a lot of friend in blue. They have it made and aren't too eager to risk their jobs.
The investigation started in 2015. The long arm of the law is thorough. I find it funny that Paz's wife was a former prostitute. This is movie material. He should be shopping it around Hollywood from his cell. And 2 M in two years. That's some nice change. Wonder how much these agency owners are raking in?
I can't seem to find what the actual charges were. I'm guessing the the threw the book at him. Should fall under RICO which means they are f**ked.
Picture is Paz's ex prostitute wife. She may need to go back to that when this is all over. I'd probably give her $150.
Yea how do those joints stay open anyways?
There has to be some other types of corruption going on in there.
The one and only time I got ripped off I was so pissed and wanted retribution. What I noticed on the way out was a Dupage County Sheriff parked in the next parking lot.
Yeah I'd give her $150.
Back in the day. Around 2000. Cops ran a house around the United Center. High end girls. Nice condo. I went there a couple times.
So, not an unusual story.

"Kyle Gojdas died a senseless death and my condolences go out to his family and friends," Sheriff John Zaruba said in the release. Well, yes sorry guy died, but if you are in the business of ripping people off, something bad is bound to happen.
