Alpha Gals
The old Spas were so good I can't help responding. Alpha's was the best, maybe because it lasted so long. They had parking underneath in the back with a guy watching your car (tip was appreciated).
... Memories.
Here's another blast from the past.
Some, who I met multiple time, 4-10, and a few 15+ times over the years.
Chloe, Lisa, Sondra, Wendy, Ginger, Christine, Joy, Nikki, Candy, Debbie, LaToya, Jean, Adrianna, and Bonnie.
There were many others but you could always call them for the recording of who was on duty. No muss; no fuss.
Aristocrat had Tara, Sharon, Dee, Lori, Jackie, Candace, Star, Donna, Renee, Sierra, and Maria.
Yes, I kept tabs and cheat sheet notes from those good old days.
I was able to see a few of them after those places got shutdown. Yeah, great memories!

How about the strolls?
anyone remember when page 2 of courant sports page section was filled with massage parlor ads?
No, but I remember opening up the old phone books and seeing the big huge block ads in the yellow pages.
I don't mean to "hijack" the thread, but I was wondering if you guys can expand this topic from Mp's and Strip Clubs to The Stroll! I've always been curious about how long the strolls go back. Were they walking down the W and P back in the 70's. 60's. ? 50's?
Interesting to hear about earliest memories of strolls and some of the "Hall of Famers. ".

Memories
Marty's: Washington st (now a McDonalds) and Farmington Ave (in a big old yellow or gold house).
Next to Alpha? You got me.
Downtown parlors? Can't remember the names, but I remember the fun times at one. I think it was on Asylum Ave upstairs. Across from what is now Feng asian restaurant.
I remember sitting in the "TV" room in a towel while waiting to pick which girl I wanted to go with.
Strip club? Heltons on New Park. You got me on the other two.
Capitol ave near RAW? Was that Harry's?
Good memories. Thanks man.
I'm glad this has started some interest. Downtown you got right. The other one was on High St upper floor near Asylum.
Near Alpha was on first floor on Franklin where Dominos was. You could pick out the outfit you wanted the girl to wear. Sexy maid, nurse etc.
She met you in one of the back rooms. They also offered outcalls to your home. After 2 or 3 years they moved to Springfield.
Whispers was second floor over the Webster. Aristocrat on New Britain. You got Martys 2 locations spot on.
The one on Capitol Ave near RAW was a strip club with 3 rooms down the stairs near the entrance.
2 Strip clubs in North Meadows. Harrys on Laurel was huge. A great one was on Park near S Whitney. It is now a Port, Reaseraunt.
Heltons was a small gem. If you want to know the old strolls an the stars start a thred or look at the old archieve posts.
Those days were the glory days with girls galore.
One post named some of the Alpha girls. Latoya now lives in New London an had an apartment in Manchester when she was working A.
I was invited there many times. She had a younger sister that was a 10. You forgot Stella at Aristocrate.
I agree. While this is all fun and interesting it doesn't belong here clogging up an informative thread.
I was just trying to "expand upon a theme. " just like a top chef would add that one extra ingredient to put an average recipe "over the top" or like a great musician, or "cat" will take a recorded solo and stretch it out in concert. Or a great painter will add that extra color or texture to the canvas. .
Some of you appreciated that and started to add to the already interesting thread, some could only see the McD's menu. . .
Strip clubs, MP's and SW's of the past. Sounded like a great mix to me.
However, I can understand both sides and will meekly take my idea to a new thread.
But, if I ever experience the extreme pleasure of having Allie on my left knee and Stephanie on my right knee. (at the same time) I will not relate the details of that pleasurable experience.
In silent protest. .

Not Windsor street
Thought it might be fun on a snowy weekday to try an remember all the old massage palors an strip clubs Hartford used to have an their many locations an stories.
As Marty once said to Channel 3 news " If its attached to the body we massage it" Where were his 2 palors?
Everyone remembers the second floor palor on Franklin. Alpha. But does anyone remember the first floor palor next to it.
The at least 2 downtown palors? Windsor St palor?
Strip clubs. Who remembers the one on New Park across from where Bow Tie is now? Or the one on Park near South Whitney? Or the large one on Laurel?
Or the one on Capitol near RAW. Thought this might spark some postings an some fun stories.
My error The massage palor was on Rev Moody not Windsor. Right behind where they are building the baseball park. It was located in the back of a small building.

Or create another thread where you can stroll down memory lane or talk about whatever chef theme your trying to talk about? I'm here for info about current AMPs it sucks having to sift thru your books of the past.
