Love your reports. Really looking forward to coming out there in September on business, and plan to do a lot of playing while there! I'm from Western Massachusetts and usually post on the Springfield and Holyoke strolls.

I play by your rules, sort of, though I often combine them into a single pass. The pickings are a lot slimmer here, so you often have to act fast and decisively. So, when I spot a target I drive up and slow down, and try to assess if she's worth picking up as I approach with an obvious stare. If she is, and she gives me "the look," then I'll give her a "follow me" hand signal then turn down the next side street on her side and stop about 100 feet down. If she doesn't follow, then I misjudged her profession! If she follows, the next question is, will she get in the car (not come to the window to talk, in which case I drive away). If she does get in, then I evaluate cuteness and make a decision. If not up to my standard, then I can say, "there must be some mistake, please get out of my car. " I rarely have to do that, as it is usually pretty clear on the drive by if I am interested or not. If she's heavy, or fugly, then I just drive on by and keep looking for something better. I have also resorted to locking the car door as a girl approaches, if she is too gross.
