Don't they have better things to do?

I was looking through my feeds, and this story caught my eye. Yeah, I know it's in Portland, but I just wanted to rant about it. Don't their police have better things to do? They are being defunded. Stores are being looted and burned. Instead of putting out the fire, they run a sting, with fake ads, to arrest SEVEN guys? Oh, and it's a misdemeanor charge. WTF!

They call it "Sex Trafficking Sting", yet it isn't sex trafficking. It is GREAT advertising for the department. It is all win / win for the police.
If you look at all articles about "Sex Trafficking", you will notice they never actually convict anyone of trafficking in 99% of the cases. That is just a ploy to get the arrested guys to immediately please guilty of the lesser charges.
