Not sure what's the deal with SA fav's. I get one favorite add daily from someone in Phillipines. I guess they know how far it is or it could be something that SA does to entice and keep up with memberships or something. I am just curious and wondering.

I don't think it's a ploy by SA but more likely real profiles fishing in the US. Could be scammers trolling for fraud victims, real women looking for green card guys, etc.

And of course you're never going to meet these girls in person.

I search for the type of girl I want, once you message them (or are even just view their page), they can get to your profile. Those things are a total waste of time. I have a SO, so I don't want just anybody on the web to be able to see my (fake) profile picture and my (pretty accurate) self-description.
