Because of the resources and time involved, LE does what it can to ensure that when a monger shows up, they have every bit of evidence that can possibly be used against him. Anything a monger does that shows he is entering into and willing to complete this transaction will be used as evidence. If LE, while posing as your potential date, says "bring a pack of Luckys and a 1 liter Pepsi" and you show up at the room with both, there's no way you can say you just made a mistake and came to the wrong room.
Not saying this happens every time but it does and if a provider, new to the area, gives some detailed instructions, I would suggest to be careful if not avoid. Could be a setup either by LE or to rob you. A while back someone on this board got spooked after following instructions and realizing that the items he was carrying made him visible from a block away. In this case he felt setup by the provider as there were some last minute changes.
Over the years I have developed a few LE contacts so I have heard some stories. This hobby requires caution anyway so a little extra or just keeping your eyes and ears open will help you stay safe.
Definitely help out a well known friend. Stay away from anyone who tries to complicate or add details to an otherwise simple transaction. Just my $.02.

They asked him to bring them alcohol and certain food items and drinks. It shows intent and that it was actually them that was the one corresponding. So you can't claim it wasn't you.

Text some more, no answer. Said I was leaving, one of the doors opened a cop, black combat with POLICE on the front came out, 2nd guy followed holding a phone. They both looked around, the cop pointed at me, I rolled down my window, he says " I know why your here, leave now" gave him the OK sign and off I went. On the way home I checked the ad again, it was gone. Now I still buy cigs, lighter, snacks ect but only for the ones I'm close to. I'll take um to the store and do little favors in return I get freebees. It works for me.
P.S. : It scared the fuck out of me when it sunk in how close I came to catching a charge.
