I have been stopped twice by uncle LEO, this month. Just warnings fortunately, as I was ridin' solo and all of my papers are in order.

I was helping someone move into a place near the old Camp Chase cemetery. There was an empty 12 pack box of covers in the front yard and I've seen likely candidates a couple of times, but usually when I have someplace I am supposed to be already. And they always give "the look", rarely walk with anyone, and carry nothing or a pop can or a TY bag full of nothing so they can tell LE they just went to the store or are headed to it. You will get burned, for sure, but that may be how some of us learn. I don't know how much, or long you cruised, but it is hunting, and when you are hunting it takes persistence and patience.
