I never see anyone who's a newbie that has no one to vouch for them. Which maybe means I miss out on a lot of hidden gems or finding girls before other people do. I use the apps for my own safety as regards the providers, not as a guaranteed means of avoiding LE trouble (although it's better than using your personal number).
