Zen is the best AMP in the Charleston area. But that's not much of a claim. As I get along in age, I need less quantity but more quality. So although I do occasionally frequent local Asian massage emporia, when I am looking to really treat myself, I drive to Asiana or Osaka.

But that's just me. You lot can suit yourselves.

LexLuther.[/QUOTE]I'm on your side here Lex. I got bored with Zen very quickly. I've had good experiences at AMPs out of town, not a lot but enough to know that what happens at Zen is actually kind of sad on the AMP scale.

Frankly, the way my fellow mongers fawn over the place on here makes me wonder how backwards and deprived this town really is.

Or maybe their standards are so low they actually think they're getting quality girls and premium service. Whatever the case, it's always true that you get what you pay for, and so the Charleston area market is crap.

If the reward isn't there, the provider has little if any incentive to take the risk and we are left with high quality providers who do very little, low quality providers who do a lot (sometimes, they're just desperate enough to run a $40 special but I've never been desperate enough to take them up on one) or low quality providers who think they're high quality providers and do very little for absurd fees given the number of see-section scars, missing teeth and blatantly false claims that she's 26.

The end result is a crap market.

On the flip, some of us have had the opportunity to shop in other malls so to speak and we know what a "product" is worth. At the end of the day, it kind of doesn't matter if the salesgirl is a 6 or a 10, a watch is still a watch and many of the girls that price themselves as Rolexes are selling Timexes. My advice is find yourself a good quality Swiss Army and stick with her.

Zen can be like an over hyped movie. If you go in expecting a fully overwhelming experience you will be disappointed. However, having appropriate expectations can lead to a nice experience that doesn't break the bank. As you are saying lex, to each his own.

I am posting this here because what this provider does is more of a massage than what you will get at just about any massage parlor. She is a well trained masseuse. She likes to take her time and provide a quality massage. The problem (if there is a problem) is that most guys who go to see her want to go straight to the HE and don't allow her to work her magic.

She advertises as being at Evanston Plaza, but is really in a nearby development. She is out of town now but will be back in January for a while before going to Myrtle Beach for the spring golf season.

I advise you guys to give her a chance before Charleston loses this great woman. Oh, you will leave happy.

Gents, I apologize if you feel I don't provide enough information. I use my phone to visit USG these days and copying and pasting links is a challenge. This is why I try to adequately describe things using words. When I do, I'm always fairly certain that the veterans will understand what I have in mind. FNGs will have a challenge of their own and for that I apologize. But, as in this case, I'm certain that a kind hearted senior will take pity and help out the FNGs among you.

I'd like to wish all of you, veterans and FNGs alike, a very Merry Christmas. Please, always treat the providers well. There is a guy named Roush who travels all over SC. When he visits AMPs at this time of year, he always brings them a case of fruit. He's kind of like a monger Santa Claus. Those of you who can afford it would do well to take a page from Roush's book. They will remember you. And you will have brought joy into the lives of some women who need it.

I have visited her place in a nice neighborhood off Dorchester Road. It is clean and you can take a shower. She uses a real massage table and has some skill. I am sorry that I don't agree with Lex, I thought that due to an unfortunate situation up north she was totally distracted, on the phone and not at all into providing a good massage. I reported on that here and I for one would not repeat. She may have a much deeper menu than rub and tug, but I don't have any interest as I also don't find her at all attractive.
