Observations and comments, for what it is worth.
I would have to wonder about how effective such a list would be. As someone mentioned, top tier providers might check reviews or a list, but the majority of providers, at least here locally, are barely able to set appointments, nonetheless screen dates. And then many wouldn't even know about the blacklist site or sites. And take a look at mongers, they are very active in reporting nd reviewing, yet it barely works. Nikki and "Red" have been posting for years, and there have been ripoff reports for years about them.
As most of you remember, between Craig's and Backpage, there was Trav's List, and they had a section for escorts to post and share info, I think there were only three posts over two years, and only one had a phone number, so not useful for them.
Do not be surprised that the traveling and managed provders are so nebulous that they do not use tools such as a blacklisting site. They do. They are more fearful of LEO than deadbeats so they check numbers. Not just a few but not all.
ALso, the "reviewers" here are a small subset of the prospective client base for these providers and only a few cities on this or other sites actually have active forum boards. This one is one of themore active city-sites. Go check other cities of similar size as here and see. Try Utica NY, Flagstaff AZ, others. Deadsville. The reason that so many rip off artists are out there still is that there is a large pool of dupes to be duped. You guys here are much more informed to your benefit, should your memory be sound.
Part of the reason with appointment setting not working out to your satisfaction may actually be due to overbooking, selectivity, and checking from Blackball lists. Remember, this thread emerged again due to ZeroZone being totally befuddled as to why he gets no response from SO many contacts he initiates or tries to set up. Not coincidence if you have a very noticeable issue with that.
Hell, a gal can go ghost just from a bad vibe or a wrong trigger word (in her mind) from a call or text which may cause her to back off or be suspicious (rightfully or wrongfully). Even H-addicts can have very acute spidie-senses.
My friend wondered if he was on a Do NOt Serve list way back, so he got two phones. He can also try to get info from a provider with one number, then go ghost on that phone and then use another number to set it up once he feels they are legit.
I, for one, suspect that at least 20 to 30% of BP advertisers, or their "managers", use such sites to check and more on sites featuring more expensive gals, such as EROS.
Providers up north in one city have chimed in on such discussions in the past and acknowledged such use. Err on side of caution.
