Just too much time and wasted resources and they end up constantly making the same mistakes and getting themselves back in the same situation. Her situation is sad obviously but it isn't uncommon. She was interviewed on the local news. Simple Google search is all it takes. Sounds like the guy was a trainwreck to begin with and a pos. She is probably better off in the long run. She has to want to change her situation. Hopefully, this will give her time to reflect and turn her life around. I am sure there are a number of taxpayer funded programs she can take advantage of to help her since she has kids if she is willing to put in the work.
Get an SB who is in college or newly graduated. Less drama and they usually have their shit together and are worth investing in.

I'm respectful and kind to my bartender and tip well. Sometimes they give me a free drink. There's never any talk of paying their rent. I used to say on here, you're not their father husband boyfriend or savior. It's all business to them trust me so it's got to be about business for you. I've done professional services for them in return for their professional services but I get "paid" upfront.
