I figured it was worth $73 to dip my toe in the water again. If I get nothing but older women and Kenyan pic sellers, I will promptly cancel on August 6.
I also noticed that they extended the offer by 24 hours. While sex always sells, I don't think the Seeking business model is as robust as it was pre-pandemic. Between the general decline on the supply side of the hobby market, and Brandon Wade's attempt to "rebrand" Seeking as a conventional dating site, I would imagine that paid male membership is way down.
I personally would not have renewed my paid membership this time without the steep discount. I can afford the $109; but I don't like to throw my money away.
