Owtist laid out very well how reviews on this site can help to keep everyone safe.
When you post a review on USA Sex Guide it is all or nothing. In some cities, USA is not very popular and there are local guides. I remember writing some reviews for those local guides and they were rejected because I refused to use graphic language. The same is true of the oThER site. Write reviews and get free memberships but be sure to include lots of graphic details. All this encourages is for guys to start making things up. We all know where that leads. Guys spending lots of money and not getting even close to the same results.
This site is not perfect, but it is by far the best available. As someone who has been around awhile, I also think it has gotten better under the administration of Admin2. He refuses to get sucked into a lot of the drama and allows us to present points of view which would not be accepted elsewhere.
Guys -- write your reviews honestly and objectively and always include whether you would return.
Gals -- ask new clients for their USA handle. When they post a review of you, post a follow-up acknowledgement. No details are required. Just acknowledge their visit.
But, remember, just as a jury is the trier of the facts, when reading reviews, be sure to look at previous posts. Reviews by themselves mean nothing. The reliability of the poster behind them means everything.

Ladies also keep in mind when getting a call and someone claims to be a member here, to verify with the member via PM. Recently, someone called and gave the handle of a well known senior member, but claimed to have no references. Needless to say I asked for a PM and it never arrived. Confirmed with the senior member it was not him the next day. Some of these guys are harmless flakes, some are LEO and others psychos and address collectors. Always seek references. I've even asked for I'd or a business card at the door in the past. Most seasoned hobbyists know that a seasoned provider is not looking for personal information, but is looking to remain safe and at the same time discreet.

C3.[/QUOTE]The one thing I find absolutely rude and disrespectful is when you give a reference to a provider for THEIR safety and the provider doesn't respond back or even thank you. I know if that gal asks me to verify someone in the future after that I will just ignore the request. You may call it petty or whatever but safety is the main concern. If I am looking out for another provider by giving them reference for a good monger the least they can do is give thanks. Understood the monger is the one with coin but we should be looking out for each other. Its only happened to me twice and both times by someone fairly new to the board. I am sure I am not the only provider that feels this way.
I have no idea what to do with your references. They don't write a book on that subject and my one experience confirming a reference was a fiasco.

I had someone ask me for references one time. I understand the concept, but the lady wanted me to send my name, company and two references by email. I wrote back that I did not think it was that safe sending that info out, but left a contact number. She never called back, but we sent a few emails back and forth until I lost interest. It is not that I did not think she was legit, I just did not think it was fair to the SP's I had seen sending both of our information out via email without hearing at least a human voice on the other line. You can gauge a lot of information, although it is not always correct, by how someone talks.

Just like snitching. LOL. Do not get me wrong, I do understand however, I have been placed in a situation where a girl did ask me for references. My reply was I wouldn't give your name and number to an unverified individual so you can not expect me to provide information from providers that trust me not to do the same to them.
The point is when a gentleman is looking for a new provider, that provider is as unverified to him as he is unverified to her. To bring in a verification process only involves more people that don't need to be. The simple solution is one that no girl likes, SPENT TIME OFF THE CLOCK! No, I am NOT saying to do anything more than just hang out and decide from there.

OK. I have no problem giving the name and even digits of some of the higher profile SP's I have dated as a reference. That is a badge of honor. I am pretty sure they will give me a good reference if asked, assuming they even remember me after a few days. I always treat a lady like a lady but I do not expect her to recognize my voice. I know one well respected SP that I see from time to time that has entered my phone number in her phone four times, each time with the same key word to help her remember me. I guess she looses a lot of phones.
If a SP asked for my full name, address, real phone number and / or place of employment I am afraid I would just move on down the list. I can't think of a single good reason she needs that much information on my private life.
So, yeah, I agree with you. There is a point where it is just too much info going out for two little reward.

She then stopped all contact with me after never being able to talk to the last provider on the list (this was way back when I started in Orlando, and the list only had three). One provider I know well says she will call another provider she knows well, and believe me if they are good, and have been in the business long enough, they do know each other. One that I called ATF said she did not care one way or another, taking references if offered (not my atf anymore). And finally the one constant is this site. If the provider knows of this site, and your are in good standing, safe bet the reference of your handle goes a long way.
One thing I do not do, no matter how hot a [provider is, is to give out too much info. I am looking for a dream, not a credit application. If my handle, and references are not enough, then it is not, period. Move on.
So it is safe to say that references should be of legit providers, based on an actual session, and not based on some fantasy had alone in the bathroom. The door swings both ways and the same way we expect honesty from our providers, so too should we mongers be honest.
Over the course of six years I've probably seen over 200 gals (I stopped counting after 100). In all these cases I probably had to come up with references less then a dozen times (for various reasons).
The last time I had to supply references was particularly frustrating. The SP in question basically kept requesting more references, saying she could not get in touch, verify, this or that. Finally she reached her magic number of "3" references that she verified to her satisfaction, said her "Oh, thank you, sweetie. You are good!" and we settled on a date. On the very day the date was supposed to happen, she canceled for some or other reason.
From now on, if a SP is not a member of RS2000 or P411 and wants references, I politely say "Thank you" and move on. Not worth the effort.
Another thought. While all SPs pay lip service to references and how it is important for everyone's safety, why would they help you see someone else? "If you can see her, why wouldn't you see me?" I cannot be certain, but I would suspect a lot of my references kept quite for that very reason.

So what now I am confused and I need help from the team. I get a text from Veronica wanting to see me. Unfortunately I was not available but I had text her back that I would like to see her but on another day. She says no problem. So I send her a text today that I would love to see her. She responds that she would like to see me as well. Happy days and I am so excited that I do the extra clean with shave. Time for session and no Veronica. Just ignores my text like I have never seen her before. I don't get it should I post in the negative reviews or is she just so in demand I should just get over it. Why in the hell would you initiate a date but then blow a monger off. Is it just me? Or am I just in Love.
