As requested, here is a report from my trip to some of the OC strip clubs. I arrived on Friday and hit up 3 in this order.

TJ's in Stanton.

Got there about 10:00 on Friday night. The club is rather small with the only stage in the middle with a tip rail and some chairs and tables in the open area and a row of bench seats on either side. There were a bunch of private rooms around the perimeter. Cover was $20 with a mandatory drink purchase as soon as you walk in and they are serious about that. I think the water was $6. There were about 10 girls and maybe 15 patrons so it wasnt busy for a Friday night. Several girls were just standing around. Most of the girls were not to my liking because they were much bigger than I prefer, a couple were just plain fat. Looked like most were hispanic with 1 black girl and maybe 2 white girls but its hard to tell in the dark especially if they have dark hair too. I wasnt really impressed by any of them but this cute girl with tattoos on her neck and shoulders came up to me to say hi, I like tattoos and she was what I would call "thick" in a good way. She offered me a dance and I took her up on the 3/$30 deal in a semi private room with a curtain. She got pretty close and did a decent job with the lap grinding but I did smell a faint odor when she put the pussy right in my face. Several TV's a a couple of bar style pool tables in the back. It was just awkward for me because the stage area was fairly empty but the rest of the bar was packed. Many dancers were hanging out with the patrons, I'm assuming they were dancers at least. I don't think this club is even topless but I'm not sure because I never saw anyone take their top off and I wasnt really looking at the one girl that got on stage to dance. Cover charge was $5. Its not for me but it seemed to be working for everyone in there.

The Library.

This place is definitely the upper end of classy strip clubs. Very well lit with LEDs huge LED video wall behind the main stage and one side stage on each side each with a pole. Cover was $20 with a pat down from the door man. Woodford Reserve whiskey was $15. The place was hype! There were at least 25-30 girls and maybe 100 patrons. I saw several groups of women in here also which was cool. I started with $40 in $1 and went through those pretty quickly. Every single girl in there was at least a 8-9 and there were at least 2 tens that I saw. I never saw any lap dances and I never actually talked to any of the working girls so I have no idea how the VIP works or how much dances were. I got caught up in the main stage!! There were at least 3 whales in there throwing multiple $20 stacks of one dollar bills. One dude unwrapped a $100 stack and dollar bills were everywhere including all over me!! I wasnt trying to compete but it did get me in the mood. There were three Asian girls / patrons (probably Filipino) that were also dropping a stack or two. I think they each had a $100 stack. There was one particular white girl that was exactly what I look for, big natural boobs (D-cups not DD or DDD, just D) muscular long legs and long blonde hair. She could work that pole and most people in the club paid attention to her where ever she was in the club including the Asian chick next to me. There was a massage parlor right down the street in a strip mall on the same side that I considered but that would have been a complete shot in the dark so I didn't risk it. DId a search to see which clubs were closer and Cali Girls showed that it was about 3 miles away so I was on my way.

California Girls Santa Ana.

This was a fully nude club so no alcohol. Cover was $20 without any drink purchase requirement. Got there during the shift change between 8-9 so the number of girls gradually increased through out the night. There were about 8-9 patrons when I got there and about 15 when I left at 10:30. They had $20 topless dances in the main area or $40 nude lap dances in the back where they have cubicles that are semi-private and they had larger rooms with curtains for the VIP dances. I liked the setup. All of the girls were pretty hot, none were fat or excessively old. I probably threw out about 100 $1 through out the night at the main stage. I got a nude lap dance from Unique, Dahlia and this white spinner whos name I can't remember. The spinner definately didn't offer extras and the dance was barely "ok", I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Unique was a petite but somewhat thick white girl with a classic dirty school girl look wearing glasses and a short haircut. Dance was pretty good and she put that pussy right in my face and she didn't react when I touched the naughty bits. I thonk if I had asked, extras might have been available. There were two more smoking hot girls that were on the main stage I wanted to get dances from before I pulled the trigger but I never saw them. I eventually pulled the trigger and started talking to Dahlia. She was pretty consistent hinting throughout the night that extras would be available if I did a VIP. Quick caveat, my negotiating skills suck so most of you could probably get a better deal with a little more persistence. I really didn't want to spend the money but, well, you know what happens. If management isn't complicit on the deal, the girls who want to give extras know how to position their bodies so it looks enough like a regular dance. There's a few times where management uses cameras to fire extras girls but either they were already on the chopping block, a liquor license is at risk (topless clubs), or local LE or government is leaning on the club. I've gotten extras in front of many cameras. One Imperial girl told me the former owner watched the feed from home & the female manager watched in the club, but they didn't care & so extras were had. And that girl worked there like 5 years & never got fired. Usually cameras are used to address rip-offs claims (either by dancers or customers), and for safety & crime prevention of the girls. But if you look at other sex work options, there's positives. Massage parlors are cheaper, but 99% of the workers are old, plain at best, barely able to communicate & mercenary as hell. But at the same time there isn't too many patrol traffic as well. In many cases, most girls, they feel more comfortable since less possibility of interruption. Service levels tend to be higher as a result and you're likely to get a little less hustle (after all, there aren't dozens of other guys to rush off to after you).

Why do clubs open during the day? Even with only a handful of dancers they can do reasonable business if each has stream of regulars coming in. I would bet that day shift customers are more likely to get dances and VIPs than the average Friday night customer, who might want to hang with his buddies and see some T&A. I think this is especially so in clubs where extras are available when guys are coming in to get off.
