As a former frequent gym rat, NEVER have I seen a woman truly impressed with a bench press. LOL. If she comes up and complements your bench, it wasn't the bench she was interested in. If you're going to focus on an exercise that might get attention and that builds real strength, do squats. Helps build up big strong glutes for thrusting, and if they ask for help it's more fun to spot them from behind.

If you want someone to be "into you", it doesn't hurt to be interesting, fun, active, confident, knowledgeable, self-respecting, and to smile now and then. Meanwhile, you've got 8-10's out west who take care of their looks and stay active and they tend to be friendlier too. Nowadays, after not hitting the gym as much as in the past, I'm your typical chubby husky guy but found it easy to meet up with chicks more attractive than you find around here when I go skiing over there.

You complain of going from 18-25 before having sex. Didn't get any until I was 30+. Eventually, I started respecting myself more, found ways to get out and have fun, and started having a more realistic attitude about women, then BAM. Shortly after, got engaged, which brought even more attention, and even more after getting hitched. Of course, I did what's typical for someone not used to so much attention, and stuck with the first to give me attention instead of enjoying it all, which kinda led to the hobby, LOL. But, still overall happy with how things turned out.

Negativity-you got to work on it. Everyone can smell that a mile away and it tends to be a hinderance in building relationships.

Expectations. Nothing wrong with doing favors for others, just don't go out on a limb unless you feel like it's worth it. Life is pretty quid pro quo and everyone is looking for what they consider to be worthwhile. And, don't build expectations on having, "experiences I am told I would. " Sometimes, it's best to go into situations without an expectation and to learn to play then by feel. Oftentimes, you learn new things that way.

Bottom line, you need to work on positivity. Maybe it's a struggle if you only look at your past experience, but realize past events are not harbingers of future ones. Also, work on understanding what they are interested in. Just some of my thoughts though, YMMV.
