What I don't believe is the bs in the ad about an "average" sugar baby getting an allowance of $3000 a month. I've got one now, she is a great girl. We like each other and get along well. And I do just fine financially; but no way can I afford 3 K a month. My girl is hot--young cute and fun--and she gets no where near that! I doubt any guy on here is shelling out 3 K--right? Yea, just think of it: can your afford 10 extra expensive girls-$300 each time--a month? No way. Don't know if I've just been lucky or what. I've met over two dozen potentials and ditched all but two. A 19 yr old UC student hottie and a 35-yr old saleswoman hottie. The shit of it is that neither one wants money. We hang out, go to dinner, plays, movies, see bands, etc. I help out sometimes but it is definitely not expected. Yes, flowers. Yes, a trip here and there. Yes, dinners and events. Yes, lots of fun hanky-panky. But really very little cash.

I guess it all depends on what the SB really wants.

Those potentials who have asked for money up front or want an allowance right away. I ditch. For me it's about something other than money. I realize that's what the site appears to be about. But, shockingly, it hasn't turned out that way for me.

So yes guys that have the money spend it. There is always someone who has more money and spends it. What I can't figure out is guys bitching about paying $$ for pros but someone always pays and supposed SD s who complain about the same pricing on SB saying they are GPS. My opinion is a sb should be paid a higher price than the pros.

But I'm in my 60's and I have a different definition of a SD and SB than most here.

So, I've been messing around in the sugar bowl for just under two years now. And I've come to the conclusion that there are 5 different categories of SBs. At least on SA. I spent some time on SB4 SD but found it lacking in comparison to SA.

Here are my thoughts. And I welcome comments!

Category 1 - Escorts, pure and simple. You can tell them apart rather easily based on photos, what they've written, how they respond to your intro PM, etc. These are women who make their living "escorting" men.

Category 2 - Optimists. Two subcategories here. 2 A is comprised of those women (typically very bodacious) who expect you to pay $300 just to meet them for an initial dinner. Pretty optimistic in my book! 2 be is comprised of those women who identify themselves as 5'2" and slim or athletic, neglecting to mention that the 5'2" dimension is also their width. I'm not super picky about size. But I am about honesty. Waste of my time to meet a 5'2" "slim" woman who weighs 160 lbs. And, mind you, I"m not all that picky! My rules are that I will not go out with a woman who is taller than me (I'm 6-foot 3-inches), weighs more than me (I'm 220 lbs), or bench presses more than me (no need to go there). So, as you can plainly see, I'm not that restrictive!

Category 3 - Hard Luck. These are otherwise decent, good women who have found themselves in a financial pickle and are using what God gave them on our pickles to get them some needed funds. I have no issues with these women. Hell, I very clearly remember the time when I wasn't sure that I could even pull $20 out of an ATM.

Category 4 - True SBs. These are the women who really want to have a mentor, friend, some sort of emotional connection with attendant fiscal assistance. Not many of these. Most seem to fall in the first three categories.

Category 5 - Girlfriends. This category I only recently recognized as a separate subspecies. These are the women who seem to be using SA as a means of weeding out the fiscally infirm, the non-motivated, the no starters. They are willing to put up with older guys who may not look like Rock Hudson in order to get a quality BF and romantic partner out of this. Possibly the smallest of the five categories.

So, guys, what say you? How have the SA girls self-categorized themselves for you?

Me too. The SB I have now, well sometimes I just grab her and we go have a nice dinner and the like. She needs some help and I help her, but it is not transactional. Sometimes I just show up for some hanky panky and its great. There is plenty of bs on the site, but some diamonds and great matches too.

Unfortunately the diamonds and matches take a lot of sifting and work to find. But they are there. Of this I am convinced.

I honestly couldn't be happier with my two. I would gladly consider either one as an actual GF or more. The 19-yr old is simply too young (but amazingly mature for her age) and I am not yet (although close) in a personal place where I can consider the 35-yr old as a GF. These are each in their own right great people and I consider myself lucky to have them in my life. 'Nuff said.
