And, from this direction, I could see the local city police SUV parked next to the convenience store, with observers still paying attention to the spa's vicinity.

Not sure if it is protocol to list city and spa.

I think it would be helpful to know the city where this is occurring. Maybe not the spa name. But without some information your post is not helpful.

That pretty much leaves Wixom, Novi, Ferndale. Doesn't fit description for Saigon. Need a strip mall that runs north-south that is mostly vacant.

Other affluent suburbs would be Troy, Rochester Hills, Grosse Point, Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield, Birmingham, and northern Shelby Township. All of which have spas in their towns.
