I always buy factory-reconditioned units, when available, including my iPad. Most are just returns which were refinished, repacked and recycled. My current Tracfone cost me $5 (plus shipping), with triple minutes for life.
As to giving them to girls, that's your decision. In my case, it never worked satisfactorily. They lose them, or run out of minutes and cannot be contacted.

Today I dreamt I was out and about playing in the snow for a few hours. I saw 1 new BSW I've never seen before near Pontiac, and 3 WSW's, though two of them were not of interest at all for me.

My grandmother's house is next to the Deanwood metro station , I have been living there after her passing for the last 7 years . I grew up on Quarles st as a kid till my parents moved to Glenarden in 74 . I know that area very well . I have bought ribbs from the Ebony inn during the day and at night when I see police parked across the street or in the parking lot at the Ebony Inn . The name of the barber shop was Loius & James . Louis died from a heart attack and James had a stroke , haven't seen or heard about him since the place burned down . That place has had a bad reputation since I was a kid , I can remember getting my hair cut and hearing Louis and James talk a out the stuff that goes on around that place . Anytime you see a Police car in the parking lot and directly across the street on the curb , you know you are in a crime zone .
Seems like a scare tactic!

Chilly is correct: use any name, and buy your card at 7-11 with cash. You can recharge with the same card every month; I think it's $31.50 with tax.
Regarding TracFones, it sounds like you get 60 minutes for $20. Why go that route when you can get 1500 minutes and 1500 texts for $30 with Virgin? Am I missing something?
