Younger girls these days have had a lot of exposure to porn that girls didn't really have 20 years ago, and to some extent I think they like to act on some of the media influence and do the things they've learned from watching. It was a real eye opening experience for me. There was a recent thread in I think the Ohio forums of exactly that happening, although in that case the SD was an off duty cop.
Also keep your old checks with the now invalid account laying in a conspicuous place as bait for future thief-babies. Maybe even pre-sign a couple of them and leave them blank.. hehe.. it will keep her from foraging around through other things and she'll think she hit paydirt :)

The bank said if I waited one more day I would have had to make a police report, so she got off easy. The money was never technically stolen, just attempted to. Also it wasnt payment for sex, she used to hang out here from time to time anyway just to waste my time. Thats why the sugar daddy sites can never get shut down for soliciting like myredbook did.

In that case I would press charges, no questions asked. Just because her forgery did not result in a successful cash payout, she is still guilty of forgery and stealing something that belonged to you from your place of residence, so that's at least two dings on her rap sheet right there.
But I really like the idea of leaving the signed checks for the invalid account laying around with the amount not yet written in. Not to be used as bait on her, since she won't be invited anymore obviously, but simply as a way to test future SBs on whether you can trust them or not, keep track of the check numbers that are in the bait book so you will know when one is gone. Then as a bonus if they turn out to be a thief you get the satisfaction of knowing they tried to cash it only to get their hopes up then let down.

I've never done it, so I don't know to what extent they take reports seriously, but I would think they are inclined to believe a paying (credit card wielding) SD's word over a nutty SB's word.

And once I did have a profile removed from SD4 M. I am not going to report her as I didn't lose any money. I am just glad to be rid of her. In the SD world you are going to get burned from time to time. It's still far less than being married. Plus you can just boot the girl and move on to the next one. No messy court cases to deal with. The crazy thing with all these girls, at least in my case is, that i am generous and consistent. So in the end they would get the money anyway.
