Massage Parlor Reports

I've visited all of the Chinatown shops that list on either CL or the Phoenix except one -- the lady on the 4th floor above Aiko. Yesterday, I figured I'd give her a try. Called up, nobody answered, but the sweet voice on the answering machine got me excited. Figured that maybe she was with a client, and if I headed on down to Chinatown and called again, she'd be available.

Second phone call, I just got the answering machine again. Either she doesn't take calls while working, or it was her day off. Damn. I considered the old standbys, but was in the mood for some new hands. Started walking around Chinatown, wondering what to do.

Damn, I noticed, that neighborhood has a *lot* of hair salons. Far more hair salons per block than Back Bay. Do Chinese people really get their hair cut that much? I doubt it. I started thinking, most of massage places that advertise, they're hair salons. So maybe some of the other hair salons offer the same services, they're just a little more discrete.

At the same time I was thinking that, I noticed that the places I was walking by all tended to have their phone numbers in great big digits on the outside of the building.

Figured there couldn't be any harm in calling and asking politely if they offered massages.

First one that I called, answer was no. Second one that I called, answer was yes. I asked how much, it was 70 for the hour, figured that was a good sign they were part of the industry.

They had a room in the back, just like every other salon we've talked about on hair. The girl who gave me the salon was attractive. Not as skilled as some places I've gone, likely she doesn't have thirty massage customers every week. On the other hand, she was full of energy and tried hard. She definitely wasn't just going through the motions. I felt like she was trying to earn repeat business. The last third of the massage was especially good. Services are definitely in line with what you'd get elsewhere in the neighborhood.

Anyway, I encourage folks to explore Chinatown. But if you're specifically curious about the place I went, it's in the China Trade Center. Meaning, people on the street won't see you going into the salon itself (and when I went there was noone in the salon other than those who worked there.) It's on Boylston Street, last four digits 1090.

First of all, although this mostly belongs in the R. I. Section I am a Mass. Monger and know most of you have either visited or have pondered a visit to the state the inspired "Family Guy". I haven't mongered or visited an MP in a while. In the meantime I've saved up alot of capital and "energy" and gave in to the haranging of my two asian mongering coworkers who say its Rhode Island or bust (One of these guys lives in Quincy and won't even think of wasting his time at the AMPs there). These two guys were born in Hong Kong and like a french guy knows his restaurants these guys will settle for nothing less than the best AMPs.

They tend to make a whole day of it down there, either staying in the same joint all day or doing the AMP equivilant of barhopping. I also want to thank those three fellow mongers here who helped me with advice the pros/cons on various MPs, locations, "pricepoints". Etc when I inquired about R. I. Thanks for the PMs. They helped immensely.

Besides reviewing the RI boards and looking at the ads (in that weekly paper)for 10 or so establishments in providence, pawtucket, and central falls I narrowed my choices down to either DT or CH. I decided on CH as I'm always a bit anxious on a first mission to a new area and liked the fact they have their own private locale and dedicated parking lot. DT is in a more congested location and the closest parking is in a parking lot closeby so CH it was.

Before I went I visited google maps and streetview so I wouldn't get lost but got lost anyway as the directions in the weekly newspaper from 95 heading south to exit 23 are erroneous. The ones for 95 heading north are dead on. So my advice if you are not familiar with the 'hood' is to continue down to exit 22 and do a U turn and follow the directions heading north and get off at that exit 23. Much less confusion While lost at my first exit, I saw awhole bunch of street girls (mostly black and latina and looking a bit rough), two strip clubs (cadillac lounge, foxy lady), two adult bookstores, and another AMP by chance (japanese health or something) on Broad Street. Talk about a target rich environment!

I found CH and was very pleased that its a private enclosed area. The desk girl asked how I found out about CH and showed me a waiver form. I either had to sign for a $60 relaxation massage or an $80 physical therapist massage. Long story and I don't want to explain here but your best option is the $60 relaxation one. I immediately was introduced to the most gorgeous Korean woman I've ever met. Beautifully made up with sparkle on her face, her hair in an elaborate weave and best of all she was wearing a short teddy, a Rio style bottom, and stilletos that made her look 6 feet tall.

She was a true pro at pampering and took me by the hand to my room like a first grader to the school nurse for a band.aid. As she turns around I see the teddy is basicly at T-shirt level and I am staring at an ass that only black or latina women have. I have never ever seen long legs, muscularly toned quads, or a perfectly round ass on an asian ever and I told her she had the body of a "sistah". She always gets the compliment she said and I joke around saying she is cheating with the extreme heels. She smiles, steps out of them, turns around, and bends over. Yup, she was no longer 6 feet (she's 5'7") but the track& field legs and butt were the genuine deal. Anyway, In our private room she asks me if I want a TS. I've always blown them off but this time I was curious and she again took me by the hand and brought me to a dedicated TS room and gave a nice TS. Nice but I wouldn't do it again as it takes away from my massage time. She then leads me to this beautiful enclosed cedar sauna for 5 minutes and leaves me in there. I see through the glass that she goes in our private room where my clothes are for some of that time. I also see two other Korean hotties strolling to and fro, one in a bikini and another in exotic lingerie with pumps. I see a fellow monger enter the premisies through my sauna glass and the whole staff greets him like he's a returning conquerer (Good sign to see staff treating regulars like that).

My cutie comes for me and again leads me by the hand back to our private room (this place was built for the sole purpose of being a dedicated MP with a front desk, private rooms, a dedicated TS room, and a sauna you would find at a very expensive health club.)

She had huge 38s (yes silicon) and they were bulging out of her bra. Nice (I'm not so much of a tittie man)and I told her so but the ass that looked like Beyonce's in a G string had me forgetting my own name and she allowed me to admire it in my own special way.

Now for the interesting part. I've argued in souks in Khartoum and Cairo and after long lengthy battles I've always come away victorious against these weasels. I also basicly do that mongering (yes, sometimes the little head has beat the bigger head on occasion and I've lost) and for the most part stubbornly refuse to be upsold. Basicly, gauge the market, start ridiculously low and meet halfway. If a provider meets my insanely low bluff low price without haggling and provides excellent service I make it a point to give her the originally predetermined amount plus tip to show good faith (I know some of you disagree with that. My point is to ward off the upsellers but show appreciation for honest providers).

With this young lady I was given a menu with very very high priced options and she wouldn't budge. I said I only had 'X' amount and she just smiled but I could see in her eyes that she knew exactly how much I had. Then it dawned on me. The fives minutes I was in the sauna she must have looked at my IDs and cash and came back for me. (I know she saw my IDs because she slipped verbally and kind of knew what I did for a living based on my work ID). I know some of you would have been pissed but I took no umbrage at her tactics. I state and emphasize there was no theft. Not totally honest but so what. Just getting an idea of who this non-regular walk in was by looking at my IDs and also a brilliant tactic by spying on what I had in my wallet so she could have her own price reference.

She smiled and wouldn't budge on some menu options even when I miraculously came up with more much money than what I originally stated I had. Not until I came perilously close to the full contents did she agree, put the menu away, and purr at me. Hats off to her! I never ever let my clothes or wallet separate from me when I monger but in longterm asian establishments that don't like noise mamasan would kick ass inhouse if a client was robbed. Paranoid in other situations, I am admittedly complacent in AMPs. This girl didn't rob me she outplayed me at my own game (happens everyday on Wall Street). Just as I consulted guys beforehand on how to haggle she like a used car dealer who asks you off the bat "How much do you want to spend" got the drop on me first. There wasn't even a dollar missing. Point is she knew she was drop dead gorgeous (I'm talking Kimora Lee Simmons), knew she was a siren who couldn't be ignored and therefore knew she could purr at me and get it that way. I have never seen an asian this drop dead gorgeous in my life and I raised the flag of financial defeat.

I quickly realized I was not in Mass and fellow Mass guys come on down! This drop dead woman who I had no business being with in real life then pampered me like a king, cooed in my ear and told her life story. Like a geisha who was trained in the arts of soothing frazzled travellers she is so smooth and professional that you just enjoy watching her operate. Is she a hawk? Yes! Does she peek (but I reiterate does not take anything) in your wallet when she leaves you in the sauna? I don't have CCTV footage but I would confidently say she does and in a strange way admire her tactic. When I got dressed, she locked my arm in hers and walked me over to her fellow hottie Korean and introduced me. Gave me a drink and waved from the door as I drove off calm, serene, and with a very thin wallet.

Now, would I repeat with her. Maybe, but most likely not. I'd go back to the establishment and see a different girl and try for much cheaper. Mongers who I've PMed with and post regularly PM me and I'll let you know what name she goes by (anyway, its not hard to figure out. Of a building filled with gorgeous Koreans look for the one who is 6 feet in heels, the body of an olympic athlete, and looks of a runway model. The other girls are just plain old hot. This one is a smoldering goddess.) and a detail or two. If I don't recognize you I mean no offense if I don't reply. I'm still smarting over a situation where someone let FY know they were reviewed and my physical therapist there sort of figured out it was me. I was a bit embarassed from that experience so please excuse my paranoia there.

As far as the drive, I'm about 10 miles wetrowest of Boston so I took 128 and then 95. Total roundtrip was 118 miles. There can also be traffic and construction hassles so plan for that too. Look at that Boston paper. I'm trying a cheaper place in Pawtucket next week. Will try DT and go back to CH. I will however request a different girl due to the fact that we're ina mild recession.

Also, the only complaint I had was with the TS and sauna. She did alot of work as far as prepping, cleaning down the table, leaving me alone in the sauna, etc. I'd much rather have the girls hands on me nonstop. Hate being alone for minutes at a time while she's running about in heels fetching or doing something. TS not my thing but Sauna wasn't bad though next time I'll leave a small amount of cash in the wallet as bait and secrete the rest in my clothing, shoes, or even stuff it up my ass (but she would have found it during my TS).

Guys, haven't mongered since I parted ways with FY(I'd still walk from my Korean goddess for my sweetie there. No lingerie, no menu, nothing fancy, just a warm smile, straight forward therapaeutic massage, and a wonderful back cracking. First time I ever had a crush mongering. Hope she's doing well.) but I'm back at it again. Gonna try cheaper places in Central falls, Pawtucket. Its a buyers market down there. Just be warned of the absolutely stunning fabulous Goddess at CH. She knows she's the best. She is the best. I just can't afford her. Great one time relaxation massage.

I have not been to this place myself, but two reviews on another site. One positive, one negative. Both say there is no HE offered. Apparently once you're in the shop she lets you know her service is not "full body".

By the way, Gravel, did you by chance stop by aiko on your way out? I was in there and someone came to the door for a walk-in. Figured it was likely someone here.

I think I know which hair salon you went to. They use to advertise on CL. I remember having a report on them. I think the name of the salon is Ecco. Anyways, they had signs saying there is it is not a sexual massage and to keep on the underwear. I didn't think they would change. But I guess they had to survive somehow.

Great report on CH. The money is well spent if one doesn't mind driving to RI. The only downside is that I have never seen the same girl twice. Btw, the place is located in Downtown. The best time to go there is 11-12 on Sunday. Downtown Prov is dead on Sundays. No traffic, free parking, you'll be the first customer so no waiting, and in RI perfectly legit.

Anna is pretty hot IMHO. Having to deal with the interruptions of the front room and the phone are more than offset by her performance. She is one of the few Asians that has dirty talked me really well at the end of the performance.

Great post. We have no idea what AMP mongering is about up here. RI is full time all the time.

The wallet check is pretty standard when TS is offered. Most regulars will skip it for party time. Plus they get a break for the standards. Typically its a good way to set your max and let her know. Hiding the rest. Money clip full works for me with the rest in the secret spot somewhere else.

IMO you guys are way too trusting. Of course your folding money is safe at any established place. But I for one am not about to leave my ID, my credit cards, and so on, back in the room when I'm getting a shower. Every single massage parlor (Asian or otherwise) that I have been to in the last 40 years has had a little waterproof bag for your personal belongings (except for a few that only had lockable lockers, like Marlow's in CT; and that always made me uneasy, I knew damned well Marlow had a duplicate key). Take it with you to the shower, sauna, wherever. Of course you would know immediately if your cash is lifted. But if your credit card is run through an embosser, and 3 months later a charge from some random business shows up on your bill, how would you ever connect that with the AMP? And if someone can get to your ID without your knowing, all kinds of bad stuff can happen--again, with no trail back to the AMP. Why take any chances?

I visted this place 2x hoping for more. Got a fair massage with no extras.

Draping was used and there was no hint of anything extra, even on my second visit. I won't be returning.

The first time it happened I was a little disturbed, but after that I knew how to play their game. Now I just bring a set amount of cash, My ID, and a money clip to the AMP.

Another trick I learn is that the really Hot looking girls tends to set a high price for FS and they usually won't go down much. But if you go early enought in the day they would be more reasonable. Later in the day, depending on the day, if they already hit their mark they problaly won't budge.

The same folks I believe re opened on highland ave in needham but are now closed.

Literally was at ATM before I went. Heck had receipt in my wallet. I was expecting a. 4 tip but brought. 6 in case. After massage only. 2 was in wallet. And I was relaxed and pissed at same time cause I didn't have enought for the expected finish.

I went to FY this afternoon. First time that I've tried it. Last time I tried Golden Water in Arlington hoping for a HE, but that was a bust. I had read the reviews on FY and was hoping for the best.

Showed up and was greeted by a pretty good looking woman, I think her name was Tracey, probably about a 7. Paid the house fee of $70, and wasn't offered a table shower. Went straight to the massage.

Overall the massage was decent. Not great but okay. There were several other mongers coming in around the time I was there, and it was a little annoying having the other woman keep hounding Tracey about whether she was finished yet or not (in Chinese).

So on the flip she kept me pretty well covered, but she started telling me how handsome I was. I played along thinking things would turn out well, but when she finished and I took off the towel and asked for more, she said no way. I tried to endear myself to her. Saying all the right things, and that I'm not a cop, etc. But there was no joy whatsoever.

So my question. What am I doing wrong? Other places (different states) that I've been haven't been nearly this difficult. Are there any reliable places in Watertown or Cambridge or Somerville that I can count on? Sorry to whine. But I'm getting sick of dropping $70-$100 bucks for nothing!

It sounds like the only thing you're doing wrong is expecting a HE on the first visit, because they have no idea who you are. You'd have to become a repeat customer or read back through the posts to learn "tactics" for trying to get a HE on the first try. Going from shop to shop visiting only once at each is going to bring you a lot of frustration down the line. Especially in MA - if you're looking for everything in one visit, your absolute best bet is Rhode Island, seriously.

Tracy's actually the oldest lady at FY - in her 50s, believe it or not. But she's got an amazing rack. Go back and you'll probably find out.

Table showers are no longer offered at FY - part of the Arlington crackdown a few months back.

My suggestion: if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

I took Line 10, which reads:

and it translated as:
Asian health Massage Center -- Flow Control -- (same number)

Pretty good amount of effort went into this list.

I hit up google language tools a translated the entire page. It's a list of AMP providers. Some of which are familiar (angel, sakura) and many I'm not familiar with at all, but sounds inviting.

I would love for someone who is fluent in Chinese and who knows the game to read the list and provide an assessment. Some of this list a English-to-Chinese translation of common names ("Blue Moon", etc).

But some of these are clearly Chinese-only names which nonetheless sound very promising using the Google translator -- "Wishful Club" or "Happy Palace" and "Warm Rendezvous" or "Triumph Palace"

Would be curious to know more. Granted these could just be the same AAMPs we all know (and I refuse to go back to) but there is something enticing about it.

I saw a place advertised on the adult massage section of the Phoenix as Waltham Wellness, route 20. Called and who I think answered was an older Chinese lady. Wonder if anybody has used this place. Really don't want to go to a place with very old Asian massuses.

I think you need to get a better look. She is most definitely not in her 50's. At most, she is mid to late 30's.

If you don't want to call, you can try to google the phone numbers. Some link to familiar Phoenix or Craigslist ads, for example one of the numbers came back with:

Very nice massage. Not too hard, not too soft. Not too much oil. More of a serious massage than I was expecting, and much more of a turn on than I was expecting. Didn't do a whole lot of actual teasing, but it was the positions. Having someone straddling your back with skirt hiked up is nice. She also straddled my head while I was face down to work my back. Interesting. Nothing overtly sexual about it, but arousing just the same. Kept making sure I was happy with the massage without being pushy about it.

After the flip got real light and playful. At this point I confirmed her name and said I wanted to make sure I asked for her next time around. This got me a big hug and a couple kisses on the cheek and forehead. After more teasing I was raring to go. She initially said "Ok, done" but a 30 second conversation convinced her there was no trouble in store for her. At that point she pulled up her top and went to town. Nice finish, not too fast and a surprisingly large rack. In fact, so nice I'm not certain they were real. Either way, I was happy.

Nice time. In comparison, Aiko usually beats the hell out of me for most of the time, which I need occasionally. This was one step below that on the firmness scale. But she was much more affectionate. Nice alternative and much better than I was expecting based on some previous research.
