So they were trying to accommodate both instead of sending away the second customer. This can happen when things get busy. They will try to rush you. Not just at Spring but other spas as well.

Being how I have to drive about 25 minutes to get to Spring, I called ahead at 9:05 AM. I asked if Jay was available. When I was told she was busy, I asked if she would be available at 10:00 AM, mama said yes. So I told mama that I would be there at 10 AM. When I arrived there was no cars in the lot. If there had been, I would have waited across the street in the Meijer parking lot until they left.

Mama was working so there was no need for Jay to leave the room for a few minutes, then when she returned, hurry me along, then have mama give me the cleanup shower. Jay should have stayed with me for the full hour and let mama handle the next customer until Jay was free.

To be fair to Jay, it wasn't an over the top kind of rush. However, I could tell she was trying to get me to finish quickly, very unlike my first two visits with her.

Now that I've had time to think about the experience, I will probably return. However, I will make it clear that I expect a full hour with her.

Still prior to me realizing FS was possible in these places. I really got stuck on this Korean beauty. Poor thing all smiles and working her butt off for my two Jacksons. Finally one day there was a call from the hall in Korean. She got up immediately, dressed and left. New girl comes in to finish. I only realized later that an actual craftsman with the proper resources bumped me.

Realizing you tip well this wasn't the case. Jay's trying to make everybody happy but Mama finishing things up isn't happy.

Since then I've been to countless spas with one provider. SOP is quietly taking a room and telling Mama no rush. I'll take a nap until it's my turn.

So many possibilities on why, no way to know. Could it have been a monger who called for a appt before you came so she felt she should answer and she thought you had time before him? Good chance it's not someone from this board. Had Mamasan stepped out for a minute and that's why she had to answer door? Maybe once you arrived she told Jay she had something she was going to do? I'm sure Jay was trying to keep all happy and such. Would have been better to be upfront and had the new one wait till the hour was up. Got to be hard at times to be the only one working in a place like that when you provide good service.

None of the reasons absolve not getting your full time / service with her. Letting her know you want your full time with her like you plan is the exact thing to do IMO. She always seems to have good service in mind on my trips for sure. Hope she shows you nothing but the best next time Mr Coffee. I'm betting she will.

I have a long-standing tradition of hitting Happy Spa after festivities have ended on Thanksgiving. Sadly, they will not be open tomorrow night. I might need to check on Spring to see if they will be open on Thursday.

Will Spring, or any of the parlors, turn you away if you are not above a certain age? I'm only 20 and read that a guy got told to come back when he was older haha.

Battle Creek has Jay at Spring and Sandy (still my favorite) at Happy.

Jackson has Mikki and Hannah at Lucky and Ginger at Oriental.

All talented women. What is missing is younger talent.

Went to Spring this afternoon and they were closed. It was around 2 PM. Since I have been a good boy all year I was going to give myself a present. I was planning on unwrapping Jay.
