New article questions the legality of Stingray cell phone tracker use without a warrant:

MNPD is moving its temporary headquarters to Donelson (the old Donelson Hospital site).
Additionally, its Big Sex Unit is moving to Massman Dr.
Can you say Airport Sandwich?

[I]"In addition to the new Lebanon Pike short-term office, the police department will have a smaller temporary presence in 25,000 square feet of a separate airport-area building at 749 Massman Drive for parts of its investigative services bureau, sex crimes unit, youth services division and information technology staff. I have never seen any ad for a minor which scares me. Is it just a set up. I think I will retire.

I understand laws against predators, human trafficking etc, but let adults be adults and have enjoyment amongst consenting adults.

LEO says "I'm 17. " Stupid subject says "No problem," shows up, is arrested. Smart subject says "No, you're too young," hangs up, is a free man.
There's no money and crime propoganda in entrapment.
It's policing by press release. I've never seen a follow up article about the eventual disposition of these cases, or data on conviction rates. Possibly some end up in a diversion program.
This is a shock and awe campaign. It's Scarlet Letter public shaming. If they can scare significant numbers away from the hobby, then they've reached their objective. (I'm not talking about ACTUAL trafficking, but a sting like this with non-existent providers).
I'm certain there's a spreadsheet somewhere at the TBI proving how effective these four dedicated officers are.
Pretty sure they trot out an impressive PowerPoint slide every year at budget time.
Despite all that, people still like to have sex.

-Jeepster1.
While I agree with Jeepster the police have to look up to see the bottom, those are some sick individuals they arrested. Sad part is the dark side of this hobby and trafficking is going on. I haven't wanted to have sex with a minor since I was one. With it all being illegal guess it's guilt by association. Let consenting adults play but protect the children and mentally imbalanced.

Complete with pics, real name and aliases, and DOB?
Then, simultaneously, she ran a BP ad saying she was on Brick Church Pike! Practically a big red arrow pointing to her location!
Did the MNPD special unit descend on the area, rescue her, and jail her gangster pimps? Did the TBI? If they did, it sure didn't make the news.
Were they too busy planning their next sting to to protect a REAL 17 year old girl?

With anything they do. Thanks Jeepater for finding that article.
http://www.newschannel5.com/news/local-news/41-arrested-in-nashville-human-trafficking-operation
I call bullshit on them. "More than half the men wanted sex with a minor" BP doesn't even allow ads for minors. Sounds like a smear campaign to get BP shut down.
