Civil asset forfeiture
Two time victim of that bullshit 'nuisance' law here. GREAT news to hear. I doubt it, but hopefully those three parties (and more later) will be able to SUE those assholes for some big $$ and put an end to that scam once and for all! Just imagine the humiliation that would cause the crybabies who are in favor of these types of laws.
I hope the government appeals. Not because I agree with them, but because I want Wayne Co to lise at SCOTUS & strike a major blow to civil asset forfeiture. Institute for Justice does good work; toss them some donations if you can afford it as they represent people for free.

https://www.ncsl.org/state-legislatures-news/details/supreme-court-to-reexamine-use-of-civil-asset-forfeiture
Yeah, it seems that the argument being made by the challengers is that the government would still be able to seize assets but that there would have to be a fairly quick evidentiary hearing on whether the government could keep it. The challengers' proposed test would have a court balance the interest of the government in preventing property from being used for crime vs. The defendant's interests in the property.

Heck, look at how often govt violates 1st amendment even though there are lots of rulings to clarify what the law is.

One of the girls on Michigan Eros was complaining that a regular contacted her asking for UAW discount since he was collecting only strike pay now. She declined.

I wonder whether the union knows it negotiated discounts to members from SP's. Smh. That guy may have been thinking of a provider or two who used to advertise discounts to first responders following 9/11. I'm over 65, do I get the AARP discount?

This might be newsworthy for anyone who had any recent dates in the Hartland area.

A Cautionary Tale
This might be newsworthy for anyone who had any recent dates in the Hartland area.
https://www.whmi.com/news/article/scott-fink-milford-mdoc-prostitution-ring
Yet another example of what not to do. When will pimps learn to never leave a list of prostitution pricing, location, and menu of sexual acts in an unsecure backpack that your estranged wife can find?
Man, if I had a nickel for every time I heard that story.

South of the border
A word of caution if you are going south of the border. The same thing happened last November in that area.

Well, it seems Verizon has stopped blocking this site. Forgot to turn on my VPN and to my surprise, loaded right up. First time in months.

The cliffs notes version for any that does not want to do the homework themselves:
4 parlors busted.
4 Mamasans / managers arrested. No providers. No dudes.
At least two (probably 3) made bail and had hearing dates scheduled.
The location of 2 of them was not a good fit. Both in visible strip malls with other legitimate business. Next to a bakery and another on a busy road near lots of retail (and was busted last year).
Like last year, the probable results:
$150 fine and 30 days.
Well never see them in Toledo again.
Providers will probably all be moved to another location out of state.

Maybe they should relocate to Monroe, retain their clientele and maybe gain some new customers.
