If Poison IVY is gone I'm surprised it did not happen faster.

I called and went by Green and got no answer and have no info on them so I have no clue what's up there. Last two times I was there the service was better than it had ever been.
Poison Ivy has moved on to Zen spa about 15 miles further up 59. There were two new ladies at the Warrenville spot last week but they didn't speak good English. Not sure what the hours are there now though.

Stopped by Montgomery late last week and made the 'how bad could it be' mistake of settling for Fiona Fingernails. They don't look like much but she has a knack for scratching you up pretty good. Should have paid more attention to the warnings here. Hot body though and playful but with lingering after effects!

All three places that are mentioned here are now open. Would suspect that Green is having renovations but there is an open sign on their door and I got an answer when I rang the door. The Spa located by the Ace Hardware is open as well. I drove by and saw someone exiting the place. The third location a block or 2 south on the east side behind the Bank was open as well. Again saw someone leaving to go to their car. Just an FYI.
I had a pleasant time with a grandma named Sue the last time I was at Green. The Spa by ACE hardware was always crappy when I went. Was not impressed.

She was give me alot of energy. Very impressed. Will be return soon.

I'm surprised that place lasted as long as it did with Poison IVY running it. In its early days it had at least one nice looking girl that was driven away by her antics.

Tried this one when they opened. Language was a huge problem. Very little English for mamasan. No English for my massage therapist. Showed her what I wanted (lighter touch). She would do it for a minute or two and then revert back to a hard massage. Kept having to remind her. Finally, after 30 minutes of back and forth, I just got off of the table to ask if she understood that I don't enjoy hard massages. They hurt me. I wasn't mean about it. Just wanted to make it clear. She agreed and then reverted to a lighter touch for the last 30 minutes. Toward the end, she asked if I would like extra time (suddenly, she spoke some English). I thought it was an apology for the first 30 minutes of wasted time. I appreciated the gesture and let her go an extra 5 minutes. I pulled-out $20 for a tip (completely legit massage). She looks at me in a panic and points to a sign on the wall that says "15 minutes extra - $20". I said, are you really charging me $20 for the extra 5 minutes? Suddenly, her English was gone again. I just said "Fine. There it is. It was your tip but you can use it for the extra time. ". Avoid.
Is this the one that was called Sun Massage? To put it differently, Sun Massage was at that address in February 2016. "L" worked there and I was there every day. It was legit then and evidently it is legit now. But there was no MS at the time. Just "L" and me together. Eventually the owner's girlfriend returned and L got fired. Thus began a long list of shit places before we finally bought the store in Buff Grove.

Sun Massage may be right but I don't remember for sure. I just remember the location. If we don't want to call her a MS, maybe I should just say "receptionist"? She wasn't that old, I guess (late 40's or early 50's?) - but she was at the front desk when I walked in. She assigned my massage to the other therapist (much younger). When I walked out, the "receptionist" was giving a massage to another client. They were the only two there as far as I could see.

I do recall a really nice looking (and fun) girl working there. On random (read, slow) days Poison Ivy would text me and say she was working. I'd go and it would be her, the Mexican chick, or a much older lady.
Oh, and for that monger that asked: the Mexican did give L1 extras, but she'd upsell the hell out of you.
You are sort of describing the owner's girlfriend. I would venture to say there are three or four management models at Chinese massage places.
1. The foot places, has an owner and / or full time receptionist at the front desk. All the workers in back, either one big room, or a combination of big room and smaller rooms. Usually a lead massage person also working to keep an eye on the workers.
2. The single person shop. One person working. Sometimes the owner is the sole person. Sometimes the owner is offsite.
3. The 1+2 person shop. Here, the owner (or manager) is working and an additional worker comes in when it is busy. They trade off sometimes. So the owner can leave the store. This is probably most common. Our store has evolved from a 1 person store to a 1+2 person store. We have part time help when it is busy.
4. The 2-4 person shop. Here the owner / manager is there full time.
If it is a 2-4 person shop, there will be someone who is basically the "boss" which you might compare to a mamasan.
