I was driving around last night with a SW that I have gotten to know. Not as a date but really just hanging out. We approached a couple of her friend SWs on about 9 and G. When we stopped at the stop sign she rolled down her window to greet them, introduce me, give them a hug, etc. As we drove off she advised me "don't fuck her". I said "why? Keeping her for yourself?" She replied "No. She has HIV and still takes dates!" I didn't catch her name but she was a taller blond that honestly did appear sick to me. I hear reports from you guys all the time about getting BBFS. Its like playing Russian roulette in my opinion.

I'm sure it's not a coincidence that there are more corner boys out on G taking the girls' real estate.
I scooped a SW on the south loop last night and had a nice time with her including a nice conversation. She was very concerned about the police seeing her or us together. She said they arrest both SWs and their customers "all the time". She said she has already been arrested twice for prostitution and saw many Johns arrested. Does anyone know if the police has been arresting SWs and Johns on the southern loop?
I don't do the whole streetwalker thing much anymore, especially since the fine for it has gone up exponentially, but I will give some tips from my many many years doing it.
1. Keep looking arround. Cops are good at hiding, believe it or not. You have to watch out for them watching from corners. There are also unmarked vehicles that wander depending on the time of day.
2. The south side is filled with cameras. Look on corners and traffic poles and you will see cameras. Watch out how many times you travel the main streets. If you go by to many times, you might be noticed. Try to mix it up a bit.
3. Read the ordinance for prostitution. It is online. When you pick up a girl you are running a major risk.
4. If cops catch you with a girl in your car, it does not immediately mean you are sunk (read the ordinance).
5. Read one through four again.

BigMilwaukee, are you suggesting that if you are caught on camera driving around an area of prostitution like Greenfield avenue the camera photo can be used to issue a citation for prostitution? Has this ever been done before in Milwaukee?
[blue]No he's not but there are cities that the cops send douchey letters to the house the car is registered to saying that it has been seen trolling in area's known to be inhabited by hookers.
I'm just fucking waiting for a Robert Kraft type to sue the fuck out of the city for defamation over that.

My guess is that if the city of Milwaukee was using cameras to arrest men for prostitution related crimes we would have already heard about it. Has anyone heard of MPD using cameras to arrest men for prostitution related crimes or give tickets for related crimes?

These cameras collect information via a License Plate Recognition System (LPRS) that collects data on the plate numbers going through those intersections. This data collection is a program that LE uses mostly to establish patterns of routes travelled and is also used when a felony has been committed and they are looking for selected vehicles. While this system isn't utilized specifically for prostitution arrests, the police have the ability to run your number and detect when and where you have been driving, giving them "red flags" if you lie to them and prompting them to ask more questions to establish that you are lying to a police officer. (A crime in itself). LE doesn't use this information in it's reports or in court because they don't want the public to be aware of it's existence.
So Big Milwaukee is right. They have the ability to know your patterns and extract information about your vehicle movement, but they use this as an investigative tool rather than an evidence tool, so while no one is being ticketed or arrested using LPRS, it is being used to point the police in directions that can get you arrested.

Since we are focusing on the whole camera thing, we might as well keep it going. Everything that has been mentioned is accurate. I know the alderman on the ss has touted his push for the cameras rollout. They are tied into MPD computers, so you know they are using them for whatever they need at the time, be it looking for criminals, to counting cars, to looking at plates on said cars. I have not heard of Milwaukee doing the letter thing like A2 referenced, but, based on the sensitive nature, and embarrassment of it, I don't see a ton of people comming out and talking about it. Just keep in the back of your head that I am guessing most major intersections of the south loop are being watched remotely. So do not use a predictable pattern. Randomize how you strole. Remember you are most vulnerable at the pickup, so keep looking for LE at all times before, during, and after the swoop.

Not denying that there are cameras, there are actually quite a few cameras stuffed away down side streets as well. Except most likely the things you are seeing on top of the traffic lights, unless it actually physically looks like a camera, are pre-emptive devices. They allow emergency vehicles that are equipped with the activator to be able to change the control signal.

When the different communities cracked down on cruisers for instance on Hwy 100 I recall all they were able to do is put no you-turn signs up everywhere. What they could probably do is if they spot vehicles driving in the area frequently put the licence plates in a database to look out for.

If you look at them, which I did, you will find very few entries for solicitation and most of the time it appears a citation was not issued. It will say something of the effect of "complaintant not located". I would take this to mean that some neighbor called in a complaint but after the long duration of time it took the officers to arrive no crime was taking place. Maybe someone with more knowledge can further elaborate. To get knabbed for solicitation I do believe there need to be proof of money changing hands as well as witness of a sex act.
Be glad you haven't seen her. She will rob you at a blink of an eye.
I saw this post about Vanessa I wish I knew more about what was meant by she will rob you. I had a dream about her last night. Picked her up on 18 and and. Agreed on 2 for BBBJ. She put her hair back and went to work. After less than 5 minutes she told me to cum already and she didn't like when I touched her back. She continued for another minute and told me to move the car because she didn't feel comfortable. She told me to stop on 21 and Mineral. She then got out and told me to meet her at a gas station on and. Yeah right I'm not waiting around for her and I didn't believe she was coming back. She is really crazy. I ran into I'm guessing was her pimp. Some guy said he was 'E' and that she told him to watch my back. This was 2nd time with her the first was good but I will definitely not repeat.

That's the ticket you could receive for driving continuously in an are known for prostitution. And no money has to change hands or a sex act being witnessed for someone to get arrested for solicitation. All you have to do is offer money for sex. The police decoys on the street do it all the time, talks to the guy that pulls up his car and when he offers she gives the signal (brushing her hair by hand many years ago). Then other unmarked converge on him and get him and his vehicle out of the area quickly. Off to a rolling van used for booking and that's pretty much it.
