If you upload the original photo as a png file rather than a jpg, it will open up full size. Now when I do a photo for a lady, I send her a png file with the maximum dimension of 700 pixels. At least it works for now. For example, look at the third photo of Mia's (Marie) ad. It is a png file. However, you need special software to produce a png file. What I'm curious about is why the JPG file size is so limited to begin with.

In other words, what is the root cause of the file size limitation for pictures?

I mean, saving storage space on the server is one thing, but the pictures ought to be allowed to be big enough to actually be seen.

What drove the choice to have such strict size limitations?

Anybody know? A2?

I thought it might have had to do with smartphone optimization, but apparently they are no bigger on a phone, based on the responses.

The Windows snipping tool can create a PNG file.

That's an interesting conclusion, but randomness when creating a website seems inexplicable.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but it does seem odd to me that, when creating the website, the developer, faced with the questions, "which type of files can a user upload, and how big may they be?" just randomly picked something so small that it can hardly be seen.

It seems like a decision driven by either economics or optimization.

Knowing which might help us users suggest methods of improvement that would make the site better.

I'm still young so it is still possible for my list to change by the time I reach retirement age but for now my top 3 favorites are LilSexyMe, Lexxxi (in fairfield), and Candy (in covington).

In general, how long does it take my fellow mongers to receive a reply to a PM from a provider? I find it concerning and odd that sometimes it takes weeks or sometimes there is no reply at all. I would think they would want business. It does get frustrating. Just wanted to see if I am the only one having this issue. Thanks and be safe.

If they operate mainly from this site they'll get to you pretty fast but if they use other sites then they may hardly check their pm at all and are waiting on their phones. Then there is the unfortunate circumstances like sick or arrested.

Using the snipping tool to create a png file is really easy. Even I figured it out. It does make bigger ad pics. Thanks to Glockman. Again.

It's not how long does it take them, but more importantly, how long are you willing to wait? No one pussy is worth waiting indefinitely. I personally have a 2 hour window; just in case she's with a client or went to the movies. After that I contact someone else and if the original provider eventually gets back to me, I just tell her I've made arrangements with someone else.
