There is LE at the entrance of place where I plan to dream. Should I go in or cancel the visit?

But I could not take that risk. She was not happy which I totally agree.

I feel bad for the provider that I had to miss this dream. But uncle's presence was big red flag for me. I sent her messages apologizing and giving my reason.

How I can mitigate this loss of time for her??

If you are meeting someone risky or trying to TOFTT then sure, bail. But I wouldn't leave if it was a pro. Maybe text and make sure they feel okay and go with it.

I did send text msg and private message from website to provider informing her about it but got the response after 2 hours.

So I did not proceed. The service provider is good one and has excellent reviews. So I never doubted about her at all.

But LEO so close was big red flag for me and thought not to take the risk. I apologized to her later too for missing the appt.

How many time have you been compensated for no show. Discounted rates extra time etc. If you do feel you should make up for it set another date an slip her a tip an tell her this is a small token for the mishap. Make sure you explain that you put SAFETY above everything. JUST my two cents.

It's part of why they make a nice hourly rate. I've canceled myself at time at the end when something dodgy was going on at or around the property. I don't feel guilty, and do inform them of why. But when you're selling a service, you're responsible for the whole experience, even if part of it isn't your fault. Not sure I'd worry about cops you see already in action, because it was probably about something else. It's the ones lurking by the back door in unmarked vehicles (or marked) you have to be more worried about.
