Yeah sometimes it helps to make it easy for them and not make them feel backed into a corner. This is exactly why many veterans wouldn't even bring more than what they intended to pay. They'd show their wallet and honestly say they only had 200, even pretend to be a little embarrassed. It really sells it when it's 100% true. I know it is for me.
