I appriciate theur being safe
With all the busts in the area I appriciate their being safe. If you do not like it don't take an attitude with them find someone else to play with. DC is dull of them and so are the sites.
Tried to get "verified" with Nomi and sent a cropped pic of my drivers license. Emailed back saying they needed the whole thing. I replied "it is a legit license and why do they need all this." I am just looking for a little action, not applying for a job with the Secret Service.
But "verifying" clients through picture ID does not give protection against busts. Uncle LEO works for the same people who make drivers licenses, and he can get as many as he wants in any name he wants.
As far as preventing busts, checking ID is as pointless as asking "are you affiliated with any law enforcement agency?" or putting a disclaimer in an ad that calling a girl's number means you agree that you're not attempting to entrap her. Uncle LEO is allowed to lie and cheat.
More About Throwaway Phones
Go to Wal-Mart, Or K-Mart and get a trac-phone. Never give any ID to anyone, there are plenty of good providers that do not reqiure it.
The cheap phones last a year or two, and I'd suggest getting a new phone number and throwing away the old phone when it starts to crap out (delete all info, remove battery, and trash in a large public receptacle). Phones are as low as $15, and the airtime is cheap as well. Pay cash for the phones and minute cards.
Hobbyist phone numbers found in numerous girls' phones over time can accumulate in various databases, and as data mining and info sharing become more commonplace and easy, you're better off not being caught in possession of a phone that frequently appears in the phones of providers who've been nabbed. Why make yourself an attractive target for prosecutorial extortion?
Net neutrality also at risk, scaring me too!
Google funding by nsa scares me more than curious providers.
Think about it.
Google also with Verizon are in collusion to control speed/content and our current gov't is just sitting back an letting it happen!
Another example of big business stepping on our necks, I thought it read "We the people" not we the corporations...
