In all my 20+ visits, I have not run into other guys while inside. However, I have on a couple of occasions run into guys coming out as I was going in.
If you run into someone you know, just avoid eye contact. I am sure that person will be equally uncomfortable.

Weekend report for Arnie's Idle Hour - 147th and Wood in Harvey, IL.
Preliminary logistical info on Red Diamond (a / k / a Club Justice) - 2829 W 167th St in Markham, IL.
It's been awhile since I've reported on these boards, but thought I could post the results of my recon work from this past weekend. I found myselff in the south suburbs with some free time and extra funds on Saturday evening (Feb. 7). Having been a semi-regular at Arnie's over the past 12 years or so, I wanted to try something different so I first headed to Red Diamond in Markham, IL. My last visit took place many moons ago when this club was known as Cowboys, so I assumed a change in name and / or management meant a new experience was in store.
I drove past what I had presumed was the correct address a couple of times, but it was hard to discern the club's exact location. I found no sign with the words "Red Diamond", but there was a sign that said "Club Justice". There were enough people milling about, parking vehicles, and getting out of cars that I figured I had the right place. I pulled in with my vehicle and one of the security guys confirmed that I had found it. He said free parking was in the rear and moved a wooden traffic barrier aside to let me in.
I found a spot relatively close but upon pulling in was informed by another security person working the parking lot that the lot was divided into three payment tiers: close spaces were $20.00, spaces a little farther south were $10.00, and beyond that were the free spots. The club itself is on the north end of an industrial complex where other businesses operate (auto repair, etc.). I advised that I didn't want a premium spot and so I drove to the free section of the lot and walked toward the club proper (about 200 yards).
Upon arriving at the front door the security person who had moved the wooden barrier a short time ago advised that the club doesn't open until 11:00 pm. He was very apologetic for not mentioning it earlier (he likely thought I knew already). As it was only 10:30 pm and I had a limited time budget, I decided I would go to Arnie's and check out Red Diamond on a different night, which I'm hoping to do very soon! Well, no harm, no foul, especially since my parking was free. I bid the kind security folks farewell and headed over to Arnie's. (By the way, they are open from 11:00 pm to 3:00 or 4:00 am on weekends, plus they open one night during the week, Tuesdays, presumably for folks who work every weekend.).
Upon arriving at Arnie's at about 10:40 pm I figured I'd have to park in the lot on the NE corner of 147th and Wood (which is their overflow parking), but I lucked out and got a spot in the regular lot. I walked in and was patted down by one security gent. The other collected the cover charge, which was $15.00. Upon walking in, I went to the bar and ordered a soda ($3 or $4 plus a dollar tip) and took in the scene. I think they used to have a two drink minimum but I didn't catch any signs advising this.
The place has been updated since my last visit, which was a few years ago. A DJ plays songs (not full length) in a small booth on the west side of the main room; there's a stage, about 6 feet by 10 feet in the north section of the main room. The bar occupies the south section of the main room. To the east is the VIP area staffed by one security person. I noticed he had a form by which he kept track of dancer activity (dancer's name and number of dances).
All the dancers I saw that night were African American (which is the chief reason to go to Arnie's! Not too long after I came in, a nice thick sister, about 5'-6", 160 pounds in all the right places (large breasts with a big booty) asked how I was doing. I can't recall her name now. I explained that I had not been at Arnie's for awhile and needed a breakdown re: dance costs. She advised that they were $20.00 per song, and so I readily agreed to a dance. I left my drink at the bar and she led me to the VIP area. There are about eight booths in the VIP area, about seven of which are fairly private. This differs from a previous Arnie's iteration in which the space was fairly open.
She proceeded to give me a great lap dance, with lots of grindage and ample opportunity to enjoy her breasts. She even demonstrated her ability to make her booty clap, which was a first for me even though I'm a strip club vet of 16 years or so. After the song, I resisted asking for a second song because I was going for variety that night.
Upon returning to my seat, a second dancer name Cajun approached -- I readily agreed to a dance from her. She was about 5'-7" perhaps, very fit, firm, medium breasts. Upon leading me to the back, she stripped completely nude--great, perky nipples! She gave me a great lap dance, the best of the night. She said she's been an Arnie's dancer for a couple of years, and her experience showed! I really should have continued with her but again was shooting for variety.
Finally a third dancer, Smooches, took me for a nice. She was 5'-9" in heels, very petite and pretty with a tight booty. Her nude dance was acrobatic and sexy, moving her legs in a way that would give me a hernia! After the song was over I decided to call it a night, as I had a far drive ahead of me. When I came back to my seat at the bar, the bartender had kindly placed a napkin over my drink, saving it for my return. I drank a bit from the glass and then let her know I was leaving. I said goodbye to Cajun on the way out, bid the security folks a good night, and then left for the evening.
Highs: Arnie's is still holding it down in the south suburbs. If you are into black dancers as I am, then this is the premier place in Chicagoland. Dances were reasonable in cost (lots of contact and nude to boot) and everyone seemed laid back. Looking forward to more dances with Cajun upon my return!
Lows: I wish they weren't so far away (relative to me). Parking in the main lot is limited. I wish the songs were not cut by the DJ.
Conclusion: Arnie's remains my ATF club. If I lived any closer I'd really have to watch my pocketbook!

Looking at some of the other news reports on the shooting, I found that 4:00 am is their close time. Some googling reveals that they operate as a so-called "social club" (versus as a traditional strip club). Perhaps upon entering you pay for a "membership" to said club, whereupon you enjoy the benefits of being a member? Is it a one-day term? Do they issue you a membership card? It seems reminiscent of the business model in the Dallas Buyers' Club film. Anyway, have a great weekend everyone!

I went there recently and about 4 months ago. Neither went beyond copping a feel. Girl looked nervous and kept looking at the door so I didn't push it. Upon reflection I think they expect the customer to aggressively innitiate contact. They are afraid of sting operations. Since this area is kind of ridiculous with commercial activity I can see why they might be concerned but I think there are something like 4 massage parlors in a 5 mile radius. I worked an all nighter plus and was in need of a massage. Started to drive to M in Tinley, but had been intrigued by Gabbys ad's in massage section.
