So, what is the real effect of the use of code words? Clearly, all they do is to inhibit communication with other mongers that travel into or out of a region. Locally, there is some paranoia concerning LEO. It may be justified. Every few years, our local LE goes on a sweep and AMPs are closed all over the city. This leads to a year of unhappiness. Perhaps it does no good to be discreet, or maybe it forces uncle to use his limited entrapment budget on the more obvious offenders.

I do share your feelings about the dreamers. It does seem rather silly. No prosecutor is going to attempt a conviction based solely on an anonymous posting, on a website such as this one.

Here's a strategy you might try, be courteous and ask a local senior. I get polite PMs quite often, asking for clarification, and I'm sure others receive the same. I always try to be helpful.

If you had taken a little more time to read the forum, you would have found that Indy doesn't stack up well against other places. The expected donation for anything beyond a standard finish is high and the women working at the AMPs are older. Also, many fail to provide a very good massage.

Here's some advice that might help for future travel:

Don't expect any place to measure up to your favorite place. Each place is different. If you expect to always find the perfect experience, you will always be disappointed.

RTFF. More than one review mentions the massage at this location is not the best.

Avoid WBS (Whiney ***** Syndrome). This is found extensively in reviews on every site. When something happens, bad service at a restaurant, order not correct, something wrong with hotel room, or price for services (which has been stated several times in this thread) more than you expect, suddenly everything is the worst ever.

I see reviews like this all the time, when researching hotels and restaurants and I always ignore them, unless there are several very bad reviews. They tend to be a passive aggressive attack in response to what should have been a minor disappointment, in this case the price.

What I try to do, is start from the beginning, which you did, to a point. Location good, room nice, but no mention of the masseuse. Her appearance is only mentioned after you find out the price is more than you are willing to pay and at that point everything about her is awful. From that point on, everything turns to crap. She then goes above and beyond, or behind, the standard service and that also isn't to your satisfaction. According to your review, you decided to leave after 30 minutes instead of finishing the hour and refuse the standard tip because, by your own choice, you didn't get the full hour.
