The first thing they do now when they bust you is find out where you work, if you're married, in a relationship etc. Of course, they do this by ingratiating themselves to you and making it seem like they're just going to slap your wrist. The detective will also call your wife, GF and any family member they can find to put pressure on you. This is all before you're convicted.
