Seems that in the past I had heard about some cheap no-tell motels in West Philly / Upper Darby, but a few searches here came up empty. I have a date in that area, and traveling far is an issue so I'm trying to find some dump that's close. Anyone have a suggestion? Airport is a little too far. The Summit on City Line has been closed for a while. There's got to be something else around right?

Never been there myself, but I think it was recently remodeled. Might want to check it out and report back!

Best bet I have found so far might be a few Air B&B that do early check in. Some are as low as $60/ night, but you do need to plan ahead to get the room. There used to be a place at 51 and Westminster called the Blue Moon but it was shut down in 2018 by L&I. Supposedly it made the Carlysle look like the four seasons.

If you are operating between 8 am and 4 pm you can find some rooms in the burbs or near the airport for under $100.
