I'm a strip club guy and I drink on each occasion. Oftentimes, I may drink on my own prior to going out, as that saves me money AND I can make the drink the way I want. Most of the black clubs I go to don't "force" you to have a drink, but I will typically still drink at Babes and Foxy Lady because they make the drinks how I like and the price isn't too bad. I prefer Vodka drinks, either martinis or mixed with OJ. I wouldn't be concerned with nursing drinks unless the club is the type to "enforce" a drink policy, but I avoid those. Since you asked specific to Pinups and Follies, maybe others will chime in. I have been to Pinups, but that's not a regular club for me, although I have never been "forced" to buy a drink there.

As far as food, I am also skeptical about eating in stripclubs, but most will swear the food is really good. I have eaten if they offer a "free" buffet on occasion and must admit I did not get sick and the food tasted pretty decent. Still, I wouldn't pay beyond a couple dollars tip at best to sample. Most of the black clubs of Atlanta don't really cater to dining (I. E. Babes, Foxy), so I guess I don't think about it too much, but I club all over the country and food is big in some cities like Detroit.

Sometimes a stripper will comment on it, but I just say "I don't drink. " I don't smoke, either, and I don't use drugs (and never have, not even weed), and I'm pretty fitness-oriented (CrossFit, freeclimbing, cycling, etc) so the "water only" thing fits. It's my "brand identity".

If anything, it usually intrigues strippers (who invariably go off on how they should stop, etc.) Anyway, it has no negative impact on closing fuck deals.

Really, check out the typical strip club client: fat, middle aged, poorly dressed, drinking at noon. There's a word for that: losers.

Beyond that, you do NOT want to get drunk in a strip club. I did ONE time (in the late Spring, 1992); I'd been at the old Vortex (when it was on West Peachtree and 15th) with a friend and a book on Scotch Whiskey, and we were "educating" ourselves about this fine spirit, well into the evening. When we parted ways, I staggered to my car and somehow drove to the Pink Pony, which was new then; this gets interesting because for reasons I won't go into here (ahem) I had $10,000 cash on me. So here I am, at the Pink Pony with ten grand! Naturally, I stayed until closing, and left $7,000 lighter. I did have a blast!

Still, I recommend not drinking in strip clubs; think of yourself as a monger ON DUTY!

Rumors I only ordered a plate of fries a few times, it's actually pretty decent, about a large portion for I want to say maybe five or six bucks. This is useful when you're trying to cozy up with a girl, offer to share a plate of fries and they'll think you're nice, especially cause a lot of them might not have eaten anything else that night. Crazyhorse has a sushi bar, which is also decent enough, eight-twelve bucks for a plate of sushi, if you like sushi anyway (I do). They have a free buffet sometimes, it's all right for a cheap catered buffet.

Drinks, most clubs aren't going to get a bug up their nose if all you order is soda. They still make money off that. Be sweet to the bartender (if female) and you can probably get free refills if you're sitting at the bar. Coffee is also an option at some bars, you might have to ask if it's fresh though. I've never had any club give me a hard time about not buying drinks but one time at Rileys. Buying the girls drinks will usually count towards your total if it's a two drink minimum type place. Now do be mindful of your history there, if you have a history of being cheap with the wait staff or bartender they'll remember you and it won't be good. But in general, the point of strip clubs is to part men from their money, and as long as that's happening, they won't care much what else is going on as long as you're not breaking any rules.

Hello all. Visiting atl for only a short business trip midweek and will have a couple hours free after 7 pm. I'm staying by the airport. I've been rtff so I know I'm basically limited to only black clubs from what I've read? I'm a nerdy white guy and I'm pretty much fine with it but I don't want to be the only white person in the whole club or I don't be able to relax if I think people are looking at me. Anyway, looking for high mileage dances and some extras. Any thoughts on where I need to go? $$$ isn't really an issue, just time and location.

Took a trip to pin ups on a late moday night. The women where nice but every girl was focus on getting the cash that it showed a lack of effort in the dancing. No type of passion in the dancing.

Went to Shooters on Cinco and the parking lot was empty. I was like what the heck? Ther was a cardboard sign on the door saying they were closed for renovations. How are these nice young ladies going to make their tuition payments?

For some reason, management didn't relocate the entire operation to the Shooter Alley Midtown on Piedmont. That location seems to still have no one there (dancers or customers) hours after it supposedly opens for the day. That situation has been noted previously on this forum.

A few of the SA dancers have taken their talents south on Buford Highway to Follies. That could potentially be problematic whenever SA reopens. Generally speaking, dancers aren't loyal to location, but to money. If SA's roster gets comfortable at whatever clubs they have dispersed to, they might not return. Without an adequate dancer presence, no club can thrive, no matter how nice the interior looks.

NEW STRIP CLUB ALERT! There is this new strip club called Eye candy. 18+, $10 to get in, and its on old national. Now of course the negative is that it is on Old National Rocafella's closed some years ago because of a shooting. (I think) But the positive is that you might be able to get away with extra because Eye Candy is located on old nat. And if there is no extra in the club then for sure the SW scene will be better on Old Nat. Will go before the month is out.
