I would not worry about all those missed messages. Most of them are "Hey!" With no info. Most of them don't even bother to follow up if you respond. And the rest seem to want a Daddy Warbucks type sugar daddy (plenty of sugar for the baby, nada for the daddy). If you want to be Daddy Warbucks, more power to you. I hibernated my profile. Not likely to reactivate unless I win the lottery. (Oh, that's right, we don't have one in AL.)
Getting around a credit card block

I recognize not everyone has such good friends (or if they are that good, may not be discreet) so that may not be an option.
CC is not one of my options
Did check out the site but looking for a pay as you go "arrangement" that is try-before-you-buy, hence dinner because I'm not sure it would ever be more than that (my income would not support sugar-daddy burden).
So far just Tinder about 5 hits no meets, so, maybe any non-CC recommendations? Issue really is that I don't have much in common with under about 38 years old.
Honestly, advice is greatly appreciated but I most likely will give up bc its so difficult to navigate scams and flakes.

They advertise finding under the radar girls, but all I ever got was platonic.
It is an expensive site, costing anywhere between $1 - $5 to get to women's "private" pics and message them depending on the plan you buy. There are plenty of opportunities to spend more (read receipts, make your message priority). But most of the women seem real, and the website seems to care about filtering out scammers.
