As I was leaving I gave her a warning about being too careless because she was openly discussing prices for this and that with the guy. She shrugged it off and said I've never been busted. Ok. I can't say I didn't try. This same girl started undressing the second we got to the bed. No LE check or anything. I knew she was ok because of reports on this site, and her stripping before anything was discussed sealed the deal for me, but she had no idea who I was. Always do a LE check. Make sure either party shows something before you proceed. Nothing illegal about two consenting adults showing each other their naughty parts.

"Entrapment, alas, has to do with leading someone into engaging in an illegal activity he or she wouldn't otherwise have been involved in".

It is when they lead, trick or entice someone to commit a crime that they wouldn't normally be doing. If the person is engaged in the practice and the cops pose as a client, buyer, seller or customer it is not entrapment. A pretty well known case was with DeLorean, they knew that he needed money trying to save his car company and they approached him proposing a drug deal saying that if he bought the drugs he could make a huge profit selling it. It was ruled entrapment because DeLorean was never involved with any drugs and the LE approached him about the deal. If they can show that you have tried or been known to be involved in an illegal act they can approach you undercover all they want. By posting ads for escort services or answering ads for the services they aren't entrapping anyone because either the girl advertised showing that she was involved or he answered the ad showing that he was interested in the service. Realistically looking at most of the ads on BP or CL, they are pretty suggestive about what is being offered so I don't think entrapment would be a defense for any of those posting ads.

As noted, for an entrapment defense to work, the defendant must show that they had no intention of entering into the illegal activity, but for the encouragement of law enforcement. In other words, law enforcement can't take steps to draw people into a crime in which they otherwise have no intention of engaging. I'm not sure exactly what the "LE check" that many of the providers discuss would entail, but by no means does that prevent a bust. The only safe method is to verify the identity of the John via a background check prior to meeting. That way, the provider can verify that they're not LE.

That sucks for the providers. Obviously my opinion doesn't mean anything, but imo an illegal act should have to take place for something like this. They can literally complete the act, then after cleaning up slap on the cuffs. Now on our side I would have to assume if we were being setup the cuffs would be slapped on first but you get the idea.

There might be some gung-ho female LEO's out there but that would have to be few & far between. If I show up at a girl's apartment for a $100 Massage and there has been NO PRIOR MENTION of Xtras or Happy Endings then I feel I am 99.9% good to go once the LE check has been done. They certainly can't cuff someone for going to get a massage, AS LONG AS NO PRIOR MENTION OF ANY SEXUAL ACTS.

So I guess you are correct that a LE check from the provider's perspective is not as much of a sure fire way to keep from being busted. BUT, if they are really that hell bent on busting providers then there would be plenty of them that would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Think of all the CL ads that blatantly offer "head" or BJ's. All they would have to do is contact that provider and as soon as she mentions $$, she is guilty as charged. Many BP ads strongly imply "you will leave Happy, or fully satisfied" as well. Usually the BP ads are not as blatant though.

If a girl (provider) is really smart then she will stress that you are paying for her company or the massage only & won't ever even discuss Xtras at any time. Then during the Massage if things get heated & she happens to get carried away, then whatever happens between 2 consenting adults behind closed doors is totally legal. That's why so many reports on this forum say that things really open up & get interesting for the second or third encounter with a girl. A lot of the girls are street smart enough to know this game.

Just to be perfectly clear: In my previous posts on this subject I was not talking about the "Entrapment Defense" in the least. I am talking about attempting to make it difficult for LEO to have enough cause to cuff you in the first place.

Your attorney can figure out if the Entrapment Defense might apply to your case, but I think the odds of that working are somewhere between slim and none. If there is a suggestive pic in an ad or any hint of Xtras, Satisfied, Happy, etc then I agree that the Entrapment Defense is out the window.

I also agree that it is totally meaningless to ask someone if they are LEO. They are completely free to lie all they want in trying to catch a perp. Otherwise there would be no such thing as an undercover cop.

The wording of the ad is the most important factor in determining how vulnerable a provider or the John is.
