What exactly does Club Lust get you?[/QUOTE]Club Lust is the upstairs club at Desires, and has a separate, paid membership. Here are some of the trade-offs:

- costs $300 per quarter, which is a lot. However, you get back $240 in food and drinks, which is great.

- The VIP rooms in Lust are awesome. Instead of a love seat in a small room, like they have downstairs, the VIP rooms upstairs have a large room, probably 10' by 15' in size, with a full sized couch, larger screen TV, coffee table, full sized plant (because no VIP room is complete without a plant).

- If you do a VIP up there, it's so comfortable that it's hard to do one downstairs again, and the price is the same ($40 for 15 minutes). Note that you can't pay for VIP rooms with any of your $240 credit.

However, there are a few big disadvantages:

- You can only join Lust on a "quarterly" basis, and this quarter ends on September 30th, so you're only a member for 3 weeks if you start on Sept 7th. I don't understand why they do it this way (it probably makes their accounting easier, but would anyone join with 3 weeks to go?

- if you join today, you have to spend your $240 by Sept 30th or you lose it. It doesn't roll over. Ouch. If you eat 20 orders of empanadas by Sept 30th, you'll have a heart attack.

- you can't bring drinks from upstairs to downstairs and vice versa. Water may be an exception.

- there supposedly used to be a great menu with great food, but it changed with Covid, and isn't very good now. Not sure if they are going to change it.

- Lust is only open Wednesday through Saturday, and doesn't open Saturday until 4:00.

- there's a 3rd floor with pool tables (and smoking), but I have not seen it open, and it was closed last Saturday, both day and night.

- you have to tip separately, and in cash, which I don't like, because I sometimes forget, and have to ask the bartender if I tipped them, because they just subtract your drinks from your store credit.

A few other things:

- you can join Lust for a single day for $100, and you'd get back $50 worth of food and drink.

- Lust members don't pay a cover, so you save $10 per night there.

- I believe you can bring a single guest with you, both downstairs and upstairs, every time you go.

- if you join for the following quarter, you join for $300, and you'd get all $300 in "store credit".

- the bathrooms in Lust are much nicer with smaller lines.

- dancers can't come upstairs without a member, and there is no stage to dance on. You have to decide if that is good or bad. You can call down and have them send up a dancer by name, and she will expect you to do a VIP room. This is the Amazon Prime of strip joints.

- there is also some other rule that says you can spend $160 of your $240 credit to buy a VIP room for a full hour with a single dancer, and you get a bottle of champagne.

- if the food was at pre-Covid levels, I could see how it could actually be great for business meetings, or watching a game, because it would be like a nice bar, with the occasional stripper sitting with her customer. There are no strippers to distract you, or interrupt you, but a few dozen right downstairs if you want to go shopping.

The standard rate there is $15 to the house and $30 per song and $40 to the house and $200 for the VIP. I've never encountered a girl who wouldn't let me touch them in the side rooms never mind the VIP area. Sit and have a drink and a bit of conversation first. If she's friendly at the bar it usually translates. Before covid I regularly got.

One I see regularly will do "whatever" I pay her. She is cool as hell. A few will ask a high number and I politely decline. They know you know. I have tried the lower tier girls (mostly the latinas) and never find them that awesome. Usually just an ok visit. There was one that was a freak, but she rarely works now (can't remember her name but she was fun). The thicker ones, I avoid.

The 40/200 girls are only a go if they spell it out. There is one AA girl who is a straight up scammer there and she doesn't let on til she is in the back. All to scam out the $200.

I so want this address to be what it used to be. Or at least a decent alternative to the rest. Popped in last week and there was 1 girl working yes 1.
