With all the attention being paid to Parlors, I thought I'd try something else. So I texted a provider to set up a meet. She replied fairly quickly, saying that yes we could, after I call her from a real phone number. I replied that it was a real number. It's one of the low cost carriers that uses verizon's system. Not a voip. I got no answer. Haven't had this before. What did I miss?

But we already know most of these girls are not too bright. You could always buy a cheap burner phone and pay $20 a month for service if you had to, but what a hassle.

Tried her again several days later from a burner phone, but she still insisted on me using a "real number. " I have no clue how she knew, but somehow she did.
Saw a recent ad where a girl stated "no text app numbers. " Curious to know how they know, but in the end it's their loss if they're going to turn down making money because I don't want them having my real number. Some of these gals act like they're conducting a job interview rather than selling pussy.

One provider shared that they use the Mr. Number app as a quick background check. Worth a trial membership to check for the number you use and see any notes. If there are none, you may want to create a monger profile and have your usual providers add notes for future vetting.

I may just do that as I'm considering moving up into the agency / higher end gals. Sounds like your advice would be quite beneficial especially with the higher end girls.

Google Voice is easily discovered this way. But a burner still uses a "real" carrier. Not sure how she figured that out unless she just has a list of carriers that are pre-paid.

Is another source for checking numbers. It caps out after so many searches in a day and some numbers it will withhold the info, but it's a solid free searching tool and will show if it's voip, landline, or mobile.
Not that I dwell on it much, but every now and then a thought crosses my mind: "If my friends and family knew about my mongering history they would be SHOCKED. " Even though I'm single & girlfriendless I live a rather boring, vanilla lifestyle. Truth be told, an occasional mongering adventure is pretty much the only thing that I do that people would consider "out of bounds. " I made peace with myself quite some time ago that this was just the way it is with me. I don't smoke or use drugs and rarely drink. I'm what most would consider a model citizen. Good neighbor, friend, co-worker, family member. All that being said, I can't help but find it a bit funny to think that the people in my life have no clue that their sweet innocent 60 year old "goody two shoes" loves fucking 20-something year old hookers and hoes. LOL.
Who knows, maybe that's part of the thrill of it all on some subconscious level. Not that I'm thinking about that when I'm in the moment, but it does creep into my mind every now and then. Especially on those rare occasions when I get a phone call from a friend or relative on my way to or from a session with a working girl. It's like, "If only this person knew what I'm about to do. " LOL.
Just a random thought I felt like sharing. Anyone else have these kind of moments? Forgive me if this is off topic, but you guys are the only ones I can ask this kind of stuff for obvious reasons.

My family / friends often wonder why I look so satisfied with my life, no children, no wife or girlfriend drama. For me in this life style, I get to decide with whom and what time I will fuck. I may wake one morning and decide to treat myself to an Asian woman for some breakfast fun or perhaps a Latina woman for some dinner time fun. Life is good, I can't complain!

We all make investments, whether monetarily, emotionally or otherwise, to this pursuit. We hobbyists are just fortunate enough to enjoy temporary situationships to satisfy the aspect of our daily lives that would otherwise be missing. It's hardly different from picking up random chicks out on the town, then diverging once our shared moment has passed. (This is not legal advice.) Sometimes in life as in business, it's far more efficient to outsource a specialized task to a pro, and carry on.

On one level it can sound superficial but affection cost all men one way or another. If you've been married you realize that it can cost you everything monetarily and spiritually. I've had a dating situation recently. On a lot of levels a great situation but it's taken a toll on me mentally.
Good points in each of the 3 previous posts. I recently realized that in the past I used mongering as a place holder of sorts until I could find "the one. " To be honest, I had a few girls here and there that come close to fulfilling that need, but in the end I came to the conclusion that that lifestyle isn't for me. The freedom of singlehood, the variety of different types of women and the ability to "catch & release" so to speak, makes this lifestyle much more appealing to me. I'm 99% sure that this will be my path for the rest of my days on planet Earth.

Not so much for wanting variation with women but just a very controlling and oppressive marriage. Mongering is liberating but it can get really expensive. I tried dating the last year. Found some great women but within a month they want to get serious. The situation I have right now is flaming out because of that pressure. I've seen some guys get into sugaring and I tried it a bit, but in some ways it's like the worst of 2 worlds; you're getting bled dry more so than a normal girlfriend and a lot of situations have all the pressure / jealously of a real girlfriend.
Well, now, I gave numlookup a try. Came back as a mobile number on verizon network. So it's "real" But, no name. Said it searched billions and couldn't find owner. So I guess why she wanted a real number. Oh well. As always, learned something. Thanks for the info and advice.
