Training a service provider is like training a dog. If they do well they are rewarded, if they don't do well, they are not rewarded. What do you think she learned by you rewarding her for a bad visit? I am going to guess, that she doesn't have to put any energy into her work next time you see her. If you had given her a pittance tip or nothing, it would have probably prompted her to ask why, you can then tell her taking calls, texts, wandering out in the middle of the massage is not acceptable. I never have and I never will. If you leave a tip lay out it is "viewed" as an offer. Case in point I know 2 mongers who were involved in a recent raid and they had left tips lay out. They did not lie and said it was a "customary tip" They were subsequently arrested for solicitation. If a place is raided and they see "funds" laying out it is pretty simple to put 2 and 2 together.
