I saw this one posting on CL again and had to tell my experience.

A few months ago, I had this girl over to my hotel. It's the girl in the pictures but, she photoshopped out the cellulite. She was a total upsell and wouldn't let me touch her pussy or tits. concentrated effort over about 3 weeks to take
all posts down, as well as get her number changed

Now this gal wasnt really a 'rob' just more of poor
service upsell, so you may not want to resort to
such tactics.

First time Post. I'm new to the mongering world and was just curious about something. I keep seeing adds where everyone wants verification and I'm not comfortable giving that kind of info. Is this a standard practice or does this ever lead to scams? Thanks for any help that you can give.

Thanks for any help that you can give.[/QUOTE]Well, I'm not sure what you're referencing that asks for verification, but "in the field" so to speak, it's simply doing something that assures the other person that you are not LE. Never discuss money or specifics when you first met someone until they first have proven to your satisfaction that they are not LE themselves, then you can choose to do the favor. A few common sense rules will go a long way in making sure your safe:

1) If the provider looks too good and a low rate is advertised, it's typically a scam and someone looking to rob you.

2) Do your homework first, and check out common review sites such a TER and even here to an extent. These are not definitive, but they at least offer some reassurance. You can also search for more of their ads on CL and get an idea for how long they've been posting. Googling their number can sometimes find posts on other sites, escort boards, or ads in other states (Another good indicator they are not local LE).

3) Check to see if the provider offers in and out call, or if short notice is okay. This kind of flexibility is more difficult for a sting operation to mimic.

Starting out, I'd recommend browsing around on here for the recommendations of Senior members for some "safe bet" starter experiences.

Providers have different ways of trying to protect themselves from getting hurt or arrested. Some will follow their instincts based upon your first phone call or email. Some may want to meet you at a restaurant before scheduling an appointment. [b]A reference from another provider is usually the best verification you can provide (for both of you).[/b] A telephone number, driver's license, and/or employment information that can be checked out are sometimes requested.

Frequently, the more reputable, established providers are more careful than others, and may require more information. But even some of these women sometimes rely mostly on their instincts when first communicating with you.

In any case, your best bet is to try to make the best first impression. Read the ad carefully; if she has a website, read it carefully. Try to call from an unblocked number, if possible. If you are less than respectful or if you ask questions that have already been answered, or if you ask about specific acts, you make a bad first impression. So, when you call, you say "Hello", you introduce yourself ("My name is Bob"), and you tell her how you found out about her ("I saw your ad on CL"). Then you're off to a good start.
