They may only go out a few times a year. So they think nothing of spending a lot even on garbage. They also don't have the mongering smarts of someone who may go out once a week. Sometimes I settle for less than I want, with a cheap date that isn't up to my standards. And sometimes I've overcompensated, by paying too much for a cute girl. AT the end of the day, it's my money, and how much I'll spend to have a good time varies from day to day.
