Are they older? Absolutely. I wouldn't call them FOBs, but "moms" is probably a fair term. Are they pleasant to look at? That's a subjective assessment, although it's fair to say that they are not PYTs. For me, they've always served the need adequately, and I've never had a clock-watching experience. (They likely keep track of the time because that's what the mamas an does to them. Still, it's never been an issue during my visits, and I've always gotten the full hour or nearly so.) All I can say is that they are a niche and won't be to everyone's liking.
