Help is there. If they want it
There is help all over the place. Treatement centers, rehabs, etc. It's ALL up to them. And knowing a few of these that are on the h, I can say that is why I quit this because I don't want to become an enabler.
Before anyone can help them get off the h, they would have to want to get off it themselves.
I lost someone I was seeing Friday. He overdosed, and didn't wake up. We will find out what it is soon, but some of my close friends are saying Heroin. I don't want to believe that, but it is what it is. He was happy, and doing so well, but yet hiding so much that I and others didn't know about.
The reason why I am writing this is because of some of the posts I see about still being with the provider even if she is on drugs. Do you NOT get what you are doing? You are continuing her high, and making it that much harder for her to quit, or that much easier for her not to be around possibly.
If you see someone with an addiction, get them help, instead of getting them high.
Ladies I know you won't like this post, but please get the help you need, instead of getting high and possibly not being around to share your memories with friends and loved ones. This drug and any drug for that matter is so dangerous. Find something else that can replace that, like having an inane amount of sexual appetite or something. But please give up the drugs.
I've known both first hand.
Seemed to me, like he was very much celebrating it. The way you put it, was stating the facts. The way he said it, was defiantly celebrating it. He said he was glad about the situation.
Your comparison of poverty and the heroin epidemic here is off base too. These girls can work their way out of poverty, they'll never worked her way out of a heroin addiction.
[blue]You have obviously never lived in the third world. You know nothing of true poverty and equally I'm pretty sure you know very little about addiction. Your ignorance is showing.
A2[/blue]
You have no idea what I know, where I have been or what I've seen. I have never lived in a third world country, you are correct. I have seen first hand though, in travel, the shanty towns in South Africa and they way people who are truly poor live. Unfortunately, I have first hand knowledge and experience with people dealing with addiction. Point is, if a girl is poor and sells her self for sex, she can save her money, better herself and take care of her family. She can build herself a future and execute an exit strategy. None of these girls, that are addicted to heroin, are going to save their money, better themselves in any way shape or form and damn sure are not going to do anything to take care of their family. There is no exit strategy for a girl addicted to heroin, there is no future for the girl addicted to heroin. Her exit strategy is for you to get the fuck out of the room so she can buy more dope, her future is in a pine box.
A poor girl can work herself out of poverty by selling yourself for sex. A girl addicted to heroin, has a snowballs chance in hell of working herself clean. If you can't see that difference that's not my problem.
