Do Not give deposits or pay up front. If I know the lady I will sometimes lay the donation in plain sight when I arrive, sometimes this is so I don't forget to leave it.
If the ad wants prepaid or gift cards instead of cash, it's a scam.
If the ad lists location as something generic, like downtown or near you, it's a scam.
Use google image search, are the pics fake? Search the phone number to maybe see history of ads. Does the history make sense. Or is the number or pics being used in multiple locations?
I will often times shy away from out of the area phone numbers unless I can confirm the person is real.
How is the langauge in the ad, does it sound like a woman would write it? Does it sound like it was written by someone that knows the english language?
Is the langauge or pictures too blatant, this one could go either way.
Is it a first time ad or have you seen the ad for awhile? Is there a history for the ad, if not it could be a scam or LEO.
Does it look to good to be true?
