In light of the current local climate thought it best to only "chat" with trusted providers. You can spill all the names of clients you want, but short of those people incriminating themselves in some way or another to a police officer, no crime has been committed, though I would of course refer to Mr. Beall for the lowdown on that.

Otherwise a misdemeanor has to be witnessed by an officer of the law. In fact, you can't even incriminate yourself to an officer. Not for a misdemeanor. Think about what would happen if you walked up to the next copper you saw and confessed that you'd driven 65 in a 40 that morning.

Current answer, given the present climate: I'd make sure I didn't commit any felonies, and if I was a well-known name locally, held political office, or was a teacher (and thus likely to get my picture in the paper) I think I'd try to make sure my real name wasn't out there, and that no provider knew my occupation, if that was possible.
