The last time I was at the club in Juneau was probably a decade ago. I think I was only one of two or three customers there and one of the (few) employees, I forget if it was a dancer or a bartender, had their small dog there with them. Very weird, I didn't stay long and I have zero motivation to ever go back.

I'll verify TimberRidge's experience with Silk Madison. Lapper room, you keep your hands at your sides. VIP rooms, hands can roam as long as they don't get near the kitty. For both, they watch like hawks.

Most GCs I go to during the day there's no cover charge.

That's not to say there isn't stuff that happens at every club, but even the reports of the ATM at THS ripping you off were bad news. We should be happy those places are gone.

Next stop now at night was good ole Ricky's this place has not let me down as of yet. If you can get over the hole in the wall type feel of the this GC I would definitely recommend if you are into AA women, the girls cannot hold a candle to what I found at OTB with the best being at about a 7 being generous. Floor dances galore with plenty of grinding and touching was tempted to do the. 40 private dance for one song but wanted to see if anyone else partook, sadly there was none and I was just as satisfied with the floor lap dances would have hated to pay for the private and got the same experience. I think only CoochieEater goes here would be interested to know if more goes on in the backrooms.

Last stop Texxas Jays, This was just a smorgasbord of different women of all shapes and sizes. Not sure where the bouncer was when I arrived but waited a good 30 seconds before I let myself in. This place was pretty crowded and someone was throwing a birthday party so money was flying pretty much everywhere and all the good worth pursuing were getting the free flowing bday money so I was pretty much ignored once they got off stage. Something I found out is if you want a drink while it's crowded it's best to just find a seat somewhere near the stage and wait for someone to come wait on you. The thing I do like about here is that dances are always. 25 and sometimes they have two for one just follow their fb page to find out when.

All in all I probably should have ended the night at Rickys and ventured into the private dance area to see what it is about.

I don't want to be seen going into a strip club downtown. If I'm going to go, I'm going someplace more out of the way.

The tip should be for good service like any other profession. If they dance that's one thing but if they're just collecting dollars, just hang a sign around your neck like a homeless person. We're not there to give to our favorite charity. I once had a dancer sit next to me without being invited to talk to me. After 15 minutes she wanted a $20 tip! I told her no and she copped an attitude. I told management about it and I never saw her there again.

She doesn't particularly want to be doing the tip walk, either. Don't make things more miserable for her. Give her the flippin' dollar and be done with it.

If you have a problem with the practice, take it up with the club, not the girl, or just go to a club wherever else (as you seem to do).

I was at a no-longer-around club that employed the practice once and a guy literally held a dollar in front of a girl, then as she reached for it, yanked it away from her and yelled in her face, "NOPE!" before chortling with his buddy. Girl didn't look terribly happy before that and looked like she was going to burst out in tears afterward.

Don't be that a-hole. If you go to the club, support the talent at the bare minimum level or don't go. Give the girl a flippin' dollar. It's not like you're being asked to get a lap dance with every girl in the building.

There's no set, per-minute bar conversation price with a dancer, nor should there be, nor is there any way to know she's taking a seat with an expectation of pay for company. Don't totally blame you there.

That said, I never forget this is a job for these girls. If someone comes up to me and doesn't seem like someone I want to hang out with, I come up with an excuse for them to go away. "I'm just having this drink and leaving. " "I'm taking care of some business on my phone. " "I'm not particularly good company right now. " "I'm good by myself right now, thanks. " And so on. Because I know, if I end up taking their time, there's a good chance their company costs money. I don't pretend any of them are just there because they're bored or like me, even if they are or do. Let's not be naive.

As far as the tip walk, a very different thing, it only takes 15 minutes into your first visit to a club to know it's a thing every dancer does. It's just part of what happens at Milwaukee clubs. Don't be the cheapskate that weasels out of it. It's hard enough to keep good talent in this town as it is.

But, if they do, it's rare, or maybe they've just gotten stalled on their tipwalk by a customer engaging them in conversation or whatever. TL; DR, don't be the jerk that won't tip a girl a freakin' dollar on her tip walk. If you aren't interested in engaging with the girl's sales pitch, have the dollar out as she approaches, tip her quickly and she'll get the message, or if she doesn't, after she got her one dollar, you're free to let her know she's pushing it. But I've been around the jerks that won't tip for the tip walk. Some even make a scene of it. The tip walk isn't the girls' favorite thing, either, but on a slow night, it might be the only $30 they get. It's not hard to keep track. They are right in front of you on the stage.

I'm not going to get scammed. I don't care if it's one dollar. How do you know the tip walk isn't the girl's favorite thing? They are literally going around to every customer collecting money. Who wouldn't like that?
