It also has 5 million residents, so if you are like me and don't like noisy city / traffic / congestion / pollution it won't be your favorite place. Costa Rica- Best for guys who don't speak Espanol and want variety since English is taught in schools, tourist industry, expat community. Most expensive place I went, a variety of women from CR, Nicaragua, DR, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela. Real action is in San Jose's "Gringo Gulch" which is hot, noisy, polluted. Daily shuttle from CLT. Depart 6:45 am AVL, arrive hotel 3:30 pm for a pre-arranged date at 4 pm. Anything from pros to UTR housewife's making extra.
Dominican Republic- spent one night in Sosua. Girl was good but hated everything else.
