I recommend WeChat also. It has the same or more functionality as other chat clients, is used by many, many Chinese women in the business, and you can translate between English and Chinese and vice versa.

Earlier someone was explaining the difference between the Korean places vs the Chinese. So here is the stupid question, how can you tell which one is Korean and which are Chinese?

1. Korean characters are distinctly different from Chinese or Japanese. They sort of have squarer edges and circles. Chinese characters really look more like pictures.

2. Chinese places "usually" charge $60-$65 as a door fee. Korean $70 or $80. M P Reviews and Rub Maps lists the door fees, you can check. This is a pretty good gauge.

3. Korean girls' faces are slightly different from Chinese. I think. But on this I am probably full of crap, so I won't even try to describe the difference.

4. Korean places have table showers much more often than Chinese.

5. Chinese places, the walls don't always go to the ceiling.

The whole purpose is to add a person right after a massage. [U]Whisper[/U] something like "That was a wonderful massage. I want to be able to see you again. Is that ok?" If she says yes, (which, of course she will) then asks if she uses WeChat. Say you are afraid she might go somewhere else and you will never see her again. (Which is exactly what does happen, and frankly they don't like it much either).

Once you have it on your phone, there are a couple ways to add people.

Phone# and Scan.

Click the Contacts window.

Hit the + sign on the upper right.

To do the scan, you select scan QR code on your phone. She selects "me" on her phone and then clicks the header to pull up her code.

Then she / you accept the invitation. Since they all know how to do this it is really easy.

The reverse approach is you open wechat & select "me" (at the bottom). Touch the little QR code at the top and then she scans you into her phone.

The other approach is to use her phone number. (Go to contacts, hit the + then select QQ / Mobile Contacts and add her phone number. Then send a request for her to add you).

Last approach, if you have phone numbers already in your phone. Then, from the Contacts menu, select Recommended Friends. It will list all the phone numbers in your phone that have WeChat accounts.

Personally, the scan code system is the best, in terms of their comfort level, but as long as you have her phone number, that works just as well.

But I have found phone calling is tricky. It leaves a MUCH bigger paper trail, and it is really hard to make a phone call to a woman who does not speak English. Bob.

Most Chinese women use WeChat so once you are on friendly terms with them you can ask them if they use WeChat and maybe connect with them. This way you might be able to connect with their friends which may include other girls in the industry. I'm not sure if this also applies to Korean or SE Asian women. I don't use WeChat but I've seen friends use WeChat and it seems like it has features of facebook, twitter, instagram and skype video combined in a single app on a smartphone.
